Is this series good enough??

Loved the first book, but they have started to slip the last one was more a novella than an actual book, as far as content went, but maybe since she introduced the native american thing it will get interesting again.

I have read he Mercy Thompson books, and the Alpha Omega ones. I noticed in the discussion thread several people mentioned the Fever series, which Fever series, I have read the books by Karen Marie Moning but am not sure that is the series that everyone is talking about.

Patricia Briggs is one of my favorites. She has many other books, in addition to the Mercy Thompson. Her older books are not urban fantasy, but I enjoyed all of them. Google Patricia Briggs and it will take you to her web site which has a full list or go to Fantastic Fiction.

This is one of my all time favorite series, i also love her other books, especially her Sianim books, just great storytelling. Also recomend the IAD series by Kresley Cole and JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood, these three series/authors are the top of the para-romance genre if you ask me!

I love these books, though I like the Alpha and Omega spin off better. I didn't like Karen Marie's FEVER series, but these are great. I enjoy all Patricia's books.

Oddly, I like them enough to keep reading, but I would never say I love them or even enjoy them. I keep reading because they are on the edge of being good and are entertaining enough to try for more. After the fifth book I am still not getting there with this series.

Moving on to the Cal and Niko books.

This series is beyond good, I highly recommend it, if you like werevolves, vamps, and fae. She's a walker so there is also a great amount of indian lore. The characters are believeable and loveable. They make you want to know them. I have been impressed with how the story comes alive visally. I also love that Mercy knows her strengths and weaknesses, she has faults and yet she is able to survive in a world with creatures big and small, and able to kill her. It also helps that this is series is established so you can read a few books before you get caught up. I hate starting anew series and havingto wait for the next book. Good reading, I hope you give it a try.

Just started the series 2 weeks ago and i am already on River Marked! It is definitely a good read and worth the time. Half of the books I read in a day because I could not put them down. She is very talented and makes you fall in love with the characters!

Cal and Nico Leandros Brothers series is great , and so isn't Mercedes Thompson , Both well worth the time. Loved them both

to be honest I had to give this series two tries. It didn't take the first time. The second time it clicked and I am enjoying Mercy very much.
