Have you ever been tempted to throw your book across the room?

I haven't read that particular book, but yes, I've been tempted to throw my books before :)

I had that same thing happen in a book I read, Believe Like a Child. I loved the whole book and got to the last chapter and couldn't believe what happened!! I was seething for days!

Well I have a Kindle so it probably wouldn't be the best idea to throw that but definitely yes.

I can't think of any particular books at this minute but I have had to rage-stop a few books and take a break :P

Lol, I've felt that way with a lot of books. One of them was Eden by Keary Taylor. Ughh... seriously, I wished Eve could have just make up her mind what boy she liked. It drove me into such a craze I skipped to the end to see which guy she picked.

Never thrown a book lol but I have complained very loudly about the cr@ppy ones. So my anger is more vocal than physical :)

haha, I was going to list this book. After reaching a certain part, I'm sure I dropped and was like "okay, where are the matches."

I was ready to burn the middle of New Moon, but since it wasn't mine, I resisted the temptation.

When characters I like are killed off, I scream or just throw the book down. These include The Sweet Far Thing, Mockingjay and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I'll probably throw Clockwork Princess across the room when I read it.

I never actually burned a book, or thrown it across the room, but I think I will one day if the author really makes me angry...haha

I threw mine! That was really the first time I realized that those books were complete garbage. But I forced myself to read the rest of the series. I'll be honest, the other books got QUITE a beating as well.

Oh The Sweet Far Thing made me sooo angry!!

SO funny. I am, admittedly, a book thrower. As several others have mentioned here however, one must restrain oneself when reading on an e-reader. My solution for that has been to immediately delete the content... but somehow that's not quite as satisfying as chucking a book across the room. I think the last time I chucked a book was with Twilight. And, though I was determined to finish it just to see what the fuss was all about, it got thrown after just about every reading session. Once finished, I donated it promptly.

Most of the books I read are on my Nook so it has been a while since I have actually thrown a book....but I have pounded the keyboard in anger while writing a review. Also my poor husband has listened to me rant endlessly while reading books I should have thought twice about attempting. These books would be The Twilight Saga, Delirium, Fallen, and the books I just could not finish.

New Moon and Breaking Dawn (which although I didn't throw them I slammed them shut and threw them at the bottom of my chest until I finally donated them t0 the library and the librarian asked me why I didn't want to keep it for my "collection" I resisted making a nasty face at the mention of these) Mockingjay~I would have thrown it at the end and numerously throughout had it not been a library book. Same with and but these again being library books I simply shut them loudly and returned them the next day unfinished.
