Nathaly, you're only one away from your goal! Congratulations! Do you want to increase it a little? Also, what did you think of The Kite Runner? That seems to be a book everyone likes..

Yeah, I've changed my goal to 25. The challenges have really helped me get books in.
I gave The Kite Runner 4 stars. I loved the sincerity that the author press inn his writing. I didn't give it all5 stars because some parts bored me. But A thousand Splendid Sounds is one of my all time favorite.

I OFFICIALLY CHANGED MY GOAL TO 25. :)
Good luck with your new goal. :) The challenges certainly encourage more reading! I've never read as many books as I have this year after joining this group.
How'd you like that one Nathaly? I was surprised how much I enjoyed it when I read it a few years ago.
I gave it 3 stars. A lot of the parts were sluggish and i felt like I was reading a high school history book. Especially when he's reading the Goldstein book. But I loved the ending and warning Orwell gives us all
It was tough to slog through, but I agree, it is a good warning. I admit, at the time I read it the ending didn't make sense to me. Now that I've grown up a bit I see that it was a good ending - haha.
Trevor wrote: "How was East of Eden, Nathaly?"I gave it 4 stars. I liked how he intertwined the story of Cain and Abel with the entire book basically. It took me WAY too long to finish, 1 1/2 months. I hadn't read such a big book in a long time. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because sometimes the desciptions seemed like too much. He depicts everything beautifully but at times the reading felt tedious
Did you like Blood Red Road?Personally, I enjoyed the story but found it very hard to read at first because of how it's written. The spelling and stuff was annoying to begin with but it did give more of a personality to Saba and helped with world buliding.

I loved the book. Gave it 5 stars. I fortunately didn't have to run into that problem since i listened to it as an audiobook. I can't wait to read book #2
#20 The Ask and the Answer
This is the second installment of Chaos Walking and it follows Todd and Viola after their captivity from Mayor Prentiss. Unlike The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and the Answer has point of views both of Todd AND Viola.
I really enjoyed the book and hopefully #3 will be just as good.
#22
. I read this book a few months ago and have decided to put it on my list. At the time I was planning to buy my son a guinea pig. I read all of if, no skimming.
#23 Monsters of Men
This book was fast paced and non stop action. I gave it 5 stars. I think it was the best book from the series so far. I'm going to read the prequel sometime in 2013.

The prequel is good, Nathaly! It is very short.
