I'm also reading A Woman's Guide to Hearing God by Leighann McCoy, but I move through nonfiction much more slowly than fiction. :)

I finished

I'm still reading:

I really enjoyed that series by Karen Kingsbury. Her Bailey one disappointed me, but I thought the Redemption series was very good. Hope you are liking it! :)

Oh, I really liked that book! Hope you enjoy it! :)

It has a good dose of humour, depth and lovely romance. I liked it."
I just recently read it and absolutely loved it! :D
Have you read her other two books?

I have! :) She's very talented. I think '' Wishing on Willows'' is my favourite so far. Still waiting on Amanda's story... Which book is your favourite? Assuming you've read the others too?

Sadly I haven't read any of Katie Ganshert's novels. :(

Yes I have read the others. I really don't think I could pick a favorite, I love them all so much! :D
But if I had to, Wildflowers from Winter would probably edge out the other two simply because I grew up and still live on a farm! :D

Melanie!! The sooner the better :) If my memory serves well, you don't really like contemporary romances, do you... or has that changed?
I think you should give her a try... I have really enjoyed everything she's written so far. Although, as previously mentioned, ''Wishing on Willows'' is my favourite.

I don't like the contemporary romances where there is nothing really to the story besides the romance. There are times when I'm in the mood for a light/fun read, but usually I like there to be something more. For instance, I love Susan May Warren's contemporary romance novels (Take a Chance on Me, It Had To Be You) and they had a lot more to the story than just the romance.
I have a copy of Katie's first two novels, I'll have to make a point to read one (or both!) of them soon. :D

A Draw of Kings is well-written and good, though it's not a favorite genre of mine which makes it a bit harder to get into.
First Kisses has been hit and miss so far! I enjoyed the first story, did not like the second, and the third is pretty good so far!
I'm not enjoying Vow Unbroken much at all, it could use some work and I'm not a fan of the main character.
Captives is the best of the bunch! It took me a little bit to really get into it, since there were so many new things but I'm really liking it now!
I just started this one yesterday and I've also read the beginning of other novels. The premise of this book is promising.

Sorry you're not loving Vow Unbroken, but I'm glad that you're really liking Captives! :D

I finished the second novella in Smitten Book Club, Shelved Under Romance, and I liked it a lot more than the first one.
I'm going to try and finish either Dark Vessel or Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone today.
