Thanks! I love this author's novella and novel so I'm really excited!

Mind-blowing book! Lewis was a force to be reckoned with.

Melanie - it appears to be a dark read, Melanie. But I don't mind that because I finished Tosca Lee's Iscariot last week and I really enjoyed it. (It's dark read as well.) And one thing's for sure, Amber's writing style is drawing me in. How's Small Town Girl? It's in my TBR pile.

Glad to hear that about the writing style. :) Small Town Girl is good so far. It seems like a slower-paced story, but not in a bad way. I'm actually enjoying it a lot more than I had anticipated. :)

This is a great story for adults and older YA. It does contain some sexual content due to rape but not explicit. It would be great for Book Clubs reading and discussion groups.

Now I'm working on

I've put it aside for now, though, so I can concentrate on finishing "The Quarryman's Bride" before I have to take it back to the library this afternoon.

I have read it but I didn't enjoy as much as I wanted to, unfortunately. I was so exciting to read it though, after reading her debut My Stubborn Heart. Have you read that one?

Happy reading, Aerykah!
