What a great book

I've mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed the time period. I strongly disliked Voss, and liked how Angelika didn't make things easy for him. He does redeem himself later. The ending was a bit surprising, unexpected.

I need to get me a scottie... they are HOT!
This is one of my favorite series, it's just so much fun!, I love the characters and the writing is so light and easy to read.
Once I pick one of this books up, I know it'll be gone by the end of the day.
A bunch of things happened here, but one thing in particular made me very happy: Ian's solution. I just didn't know how was the author gonna get past the 15 year-old image of him and I always wondered about it, I don't find teenager-looking guys atractive, even if they're actually 500 years old.

I kinda need to read Sweet Surrender by Maya Banks but it's not paranormal so, can I read that one for this challenge as well?

Lili, I entirely agree with you about Ian and the solution :)

And that I have.
Bleeeh!
This was one boring book... and boring it was!
damn!, I hated those pet words!, the author used them ALL the time and they became so freaking annoying.
I have big issues with this book, the characters, the writing, the plot... where to begin?
Nathan and Connor were ok because we didn't even hear much about them. Pop and Mick were just idiotic and didn't make sense most of the time. Micah was a charming opportunist.
I got the feeling that Gray wanted a woman who behaved like a child. I did not find his "I want to take care of you as in bathing you every single time, sharing you with whomever I want to because it turns me on and YOU-ARE-MIIIINE!" attitude attractive but that was mostly because I seriously, seeeeriously hated Faith, oh God!, what an annoying, irritating character!
with all the blushing and the constant tears, the whining and her uselessness... and useless she was!
There wasn't anything new or remotely interesting in the plot. The writing wasn't super bad, but it wasn't good either... and good it wasn't!
The best way I can describe it is "very Lora Leigh-esque", if that makes any sense.
I wouldn't recommend this book, and I won't be reading it again.

Rachel, I would go Mercy if I were you. That Sookie book was the last one I was able to get through. I gave up on the next one and didn't even buy the one that came out this year. The Mercy series and its spin-off are still in the stage of getting better and better in my opinion :) Good luck choosing!

Wicked Appetite and I give it 5 stars.
I really liked this book. It was a cute fun read and I know I will go on with the series.I have a new book boyfriend Diesel. I just fell in love with him. I like the concept of this story. All about the stones and the seven deadly sins is cool. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I loved this one. Great action. I really enjoy the world P. Briggs has created and I like that Mercy is a strong character. I thought she asked for help at appropriate times and proceeded on her own at others.

I looked at other teams Bingo cards and we are one of 2 that only have 1 stamp. Everyone else has at least 2.

It started really slow, it took me a while to get into the story. It was a very, veeery thorough explanation of werewolf society, rules, hierarchy and stuff like that... I got so bored!, it was interesting at first but then it was just too much of the same rules.
Alpha and Omegas, dominating and submissive wolfs, look up, look down, stare, don't stare, growl, whine... yes yes yes!, I got it!
Other than that it was pretty interesting, I wasn't really sure who the bad guy was or why was he doing what he was doing until it was showtime... I sort of like Briggs style where it all comes out in the very last couple of chapters but then I also somehow feel like it all was wrapped up too fast.
I'd like it very much if the author would connect this and Mercy's series, after all, Adam is one of the werewolfs Bran presented to the public.
