Is that your cat, Jennifer? It is so cute!! I freaking LOVE cats! I can't bring myself to bread my cat yet... I don't know how happy he would be with me lol.
Has anyone thought of any cool names?

I hope someone's creative in this group lol. The thing that I link to 3 is like The Three Bears or The Three Little Pigs... maybe we could put a book or paranormal spin on it? The Three Witches... even though there's five of us. Oh I don't know. I'm going off to think of some names.

This is my attempt so far:
Third time’s a charm
A hat-trick of spells
Triathlon of reading: fighting, running and sexing
Rapier, pistol, spells (paranormal version of rock, paper, scissors)
Conquering comes in threes
The Fates
The Third Coming
Triple the trouble
Vamps, and shifters, and demons! Oh my!
Triple threat reading
plus
Three Sisters or Sisters of Three

As my contribution... maybe something like
(...) Times Three to the Fifth
(luck...
power...
trouble...
books...
reading...
something else..........?)
That shows that we are team three and there are five of us.

I've just thought we don't have a captain. I would love to be it and I'll put our names up temporarily but if anyone has captaincy goals then just give me a shout :)

I'm still looking for my Free Space read but for this weeks self I'll be reading

Aaannd then we come to the love triangle. Young adult really killed that, didn't it?
I've just been searching the lists for adult paranormal books or YA non-paranormal, cos I'm not really feeling them both together. It's not really working though :P

For example: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/... This person has 431 books listed under young-adult-paranormal, maybe you'll find something on her shelf you'll like.

I agree! Oh, wait, this isn't my team. ;)

The virtual tracker of all shelves stamped & all bingo cards is up. I copied up the cards from each thread, and need other eyes to check that there are no mistakes. If the captain or an enthusiastic teammate could pop over to check the notice, then your card and let me know it's OK, I would really appreciate it! Many, many thanks!

Done it, Judithe!
So team, shall we do some voting for names? Just pick one or two from either above or you can choose one you've thought of since. Then we can officially be a team :P

Heather, I've put your faves down as the ones you said in message 22, just let me know if you want to change them.
So far...
Vamps, and shifters, and demons! Oh my! - II
Sisters of Three - I
Triple the Trouble - I
The Third Coming - I

Review:
As soon as I saw the cover of this book I was intrigued. Then I read the summary and became anxious to read a the book with the tagline "Just your average boy-meets-girl, girl-kills-people story..." . Now, having finished this book, I am glad to say that I wasn't disappointed.
This book could easily appeal to almost anyone of any genre preference. There's romance and suspense, horror and action, the cliche and the wholly unexpected. Somehow, this book manages to be both gory and beautiful, horrific and divine. The author takes no prisoners and no one is safe completely.
The story is told through the point of view of Cas, a 17 year-old who has made it his life work to follow in his late fathers footsteps and kill murdering ghosts. There are many books in which first person present just doesn't work - this is not one of those books.
I recommend and you can see the rest of my review HERE

Title/Author: Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan
Date finished: 18th June
Rating: ★★★★
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book though it's kind of weird that it's labeled as young-adult when the protagonist, Nas, is over 400 years old.
I found it somehow fascinating and it managed to hold my attention even though thinking back, not a lot actually happened. There's a definite feel of setting the stage but it's also centred on her personal growth (which sounds more boring than it was). I'm looking forward to reading the next instalment of this trilogy.
