Rhovonda Brown (rhovondalbrown) | 6 comments October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have family members who have been impacted by Cancer. Throughout the month of October, I will be honoring them and others who are warriors and overcomers of Cancer. In addition, I will be honoring the life of men, women, children who have ended their battle with this horrible disease. I will be giving these remarkable individuals shoutouts on my websites, in my Walking in Freedom! Devotionals emails, on YouTube, and social media.

Read my recent post that celebrates women http://www.rhovondabrown.wix.com/walk...

If you'd like to help me honor these men and women who have been impacted by Cancer email overcomer@marthamary3.com or visit my website www.rhovondabrown.wix.com/walkinginfr.... Give us the name and/or photos of loved ones.

I never saw myself the same again. You can reach my blog right here on Goodreads by clicking onto the little photo of me that is on the left of this note. I hope you are blessed by reading it. message 583: by Diogenes (last edited Nov 19, 2014 07:28PM) (new)

Diogenes Ruiz | 1 comments Wow! This is a great group. Wonderful resource. My interest is in "Edgy" Christian fiction. I know some of you may cringe at that, but if you don't, please let me know if your blog would be a good stop for an edgy Christian fiction author. I lead a group on Google+ that caters to this genre and would like to connect our members with blogs that might be a good fit. You are of course welcome to join us or just stop by to check it out. We are at https://plus.google.com/u/0/communiti...

The reason we set up our group was to help Christian authors build a platform and expand their readership. Evangelization via a great story that is rooted in Christian values means that the writing may be a bit edgy. Some may be offended at this but in this world of aggressive secularism, we wanted NOT to preach to the choir but to reach those outside, with a book that might help them take a step closer to Christ.

Would love some of your blogs to connect with and some of your thoughts.

Peace and all good,
Diogenes Ruiz

Brittany (behappybehickey) http://britthebooknerd.blogspot.com/

I just started this blog recently and would love some advice on how to make it better. I usually read/review historical christian fiction and teen fantasy novels.

message 587: by Ally (new)

Ally Hi Brittany! I'm now following your blog. I'm a newbie blogger too--I blog at http://thescribblingsprite.blogspot.com/
It looks like we have similar books tastes. I review more of a variety of genres, but I've enjoyed some of the books you've reviewed.
As for the advice, you'll probably want more experienced bloggers :) But I'd love to help in any way I can. Plus, a blogging buddy would be nice. It can be kind of intimidating, just starting out and not knowing anyone in the blogging community.

message 588: by Brittany (new)

Brittany (behappybehickey) Hi Ally! I'm now following your blog as well. You're right a blogging buddy would be nice. It's great to "meet" you.

message 589: by Robin (new)

Robin Willson | 59 comments Hi Brittany,
You have a cute blog :)
Have you thought of including links where people can buy the books that you review?
If you pick up the icons, just upload them to blogger (within your post). Then it's easy to go up to the "link" option and attach the purchase link to the icon.
Take a look at the ones on my blog: http://booksyoucanfeelgoodabout.blogs...
I just think it adds a nice customer service angle. I got the idea from http://heidi-reads.blogspot.com/.
Hope this helps!

Jean Coleman | 79 comments You can find my blog on Goodreads by clicking my small photo on the left or at www.facebook.com/chapter29. My blog is a combination of solid Bible teaching and short stories about my daily walk with Jesus. My recent teaching on the four gospels has gone viral with over 15,000 views. I was amazed to find that there is so much hunger for spiritual things.
