**TIPPLER REPORTING THREAD**

I finished The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy while drinking 6 cups of Earl Grey Tea. This counts as my something borrowed, as I borrowed it from my daughter. There are 138 pages in it. I may finish the next book in the "Trilogy in five parts" tomorrow.

I drank 3 cups of tea today, and am halfway through Mercury Falls and forty percent of the way through Teaching What You Don't Know. These will count respectively as Borrowed and Blue books. Hopefully I'll finish something tomorrow.
Here is the point system: (I thought I would copy it over for easy reference.)5 pts completion of one of the categories listed above: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed; Something Blue.
10 pts completion of The Whole Enchilada.
3 pts for a book 400 or more pages
2 pts a book 300 or more pages
1 pt all other books less than 300 pages
5 pts for reading a trilogy (in addition to the single book total); an additional point for each book in a series over 3 books long
double points for each additional completion of a goal
1/2 pt for each cuppa drunk by a team member
25 bonus pts for the team when they reach 100 cuppas as a team.
10 pts additional for the first team to drink 100 cups of tea.
Great start Tipplers! I'm going to go read for a bit longer before I come back to report my daily total.
I'm headed to bed. I didn't complete anything, but I drank two cups of tea!Woohoo - contributing my 1 point to our daily total.
Almeta and I drank 11 cups of tea each. I completed one book Dark Matter. Dark Matter counts as something new.
Not quite finished a full day yet but my points for Sunday are entirely tea based with 8 cups drunk totally 4 points.Have also managed to get half way through Auschwitz: A Doctor's Eyewitness Account and about a quarter of the way through The Dark is rising.
Day 1 end report - no book finished.Tea drank - 2 cups - 1 point.

Ugh! I listened to an audiobook, just to realize that it isn't something new! I'm packing, so audiobooks are perfect right now. Well, I guess that means I can choose something more fun: This Time Together: Laughter and Reflections by Carol Burnett and narrated by the author. I used to love watching her show, and some of TV's funniest moments are due to her and her cast.

I spent over 4 hours today listening to a book that I don't really like, but I'm going to finish it so I can get the points :) And it'll finish an Enchilada!

This week, I've had 2 12 oz cups of oolong tea a day (Mon, Tues, Wed)> Sorry I haven't been updating. I'm at a conference and it's been CRAZY busy! I'm flying home tomorrow, and then leaving again Friday afternoon for the weekend, but I'll try to do better at updating! I'm 25% of the way through Tomato Rhapsody, which is new. (I carry my Kobo around in a blue case, would that count for blue? hmmm....)

It could also be considered Something Blue since it has blue on the cover and you carry it around in a blue case. So it will be your decision which category you want to count it for.
