Hi, everyone! Thank you for all the interest in BSB! I'm so excited to see so many returning players, as well as a lot of new faces. Looks like we're going to have another fun round.

Here's an update on things:

1. I've just finished reviewing the event RSVPs I rec'd during the night. I'll be adding a ❉ beside the name of those who have RSVP'd and confirmed they will be playing. If you RSVP'd and do not see a ❉ beside your name, please let me know. (Gimme 10 minutes or so to update the list)

2. Deborah, Cathy, Mary, and Sue (posts #102-5), I'll be adding your names to the player list on page 1. Please go ahead and RSVP 'yes' now. I'm using the event RSVPs to track players this round. Thanks!

3. Amy ~ Lover of Books ~, I rec'd a notification that you RSVP'd 'maybe', but I don't see a post from you on the sign-up thread. Would you like me to add you to the 'stand-by' list? I tried to PM you, but your profile is not allowing messages.

4. Jeann, I rec'd a notification that you RSVP'd 'yes', but I don't see a post from you either. Would you like me to add you as a player?

Again, if I've missed anyone on either the sign-up list(s) or your RSVP, please let me know.

I'll probably follow along at home, as it were: pick a team card or create one with some 3x5 cards, a Sharpie, and Mr. Randomizer (to sort the order of shelves -- I would still follow along with what shelf was called here). :D

Or maybe if not that then as one of the "*Extra*" shelves (can't remember what we called them last round), we can put something like a "Free Book" shelf where it can be from the library, a gift from someone, or a free download? As long as you didn't spend any money on it, it would work. :) At least for those that haven't got a ereader or don't read on the computer. I know I would definitely use it as a free download or an ARC/Giveaway book, but there are others that would prefer getting a library book out of the way.

Yeah, maybe a "Freebie" shelf. That way, like Meghan mentioned, it could be used for any book that didn't cost the player any $ - library, eFreebie, loaner, etc.

As long as the freebie is at least 200 pages long, and so many efreebies are shorter than that. Otherwise, a great idea.

Have you sent out the PM to everyone who signs up requesting that we confirm, one final time, if we are in 110% before you randomize players for teams. I just want to be sure I haven't missed any steps in signing up. Thanks for all the time you put into organizing this challenge it is a ton of fun.

Cathy - I think Steph is doing that via the Event RSVP. I saw you have the ❉ by your name so you should be good to go.

Yes shelves please. I like to look ahead and see if there's a possible shelf that I have absolutely nothing for so I can decide how to acquire something for it.

I like to be able to have a few books lined up that way I can make sure I have something for all shelves. I know that last round the hardest for me was "sci-fi romance"
