2. We are reserved at Gandiva Cafe for 3 hours, consumable of P5,000. Food is good, and i think the pizza there is affordable.
3. Please come on time at 3pm. I want to give those who are usually punctual their time's worth. So, we will start at exactly 3pm. I will be at Gandiva Cafe at 2.30pm.

DISCUSSION ACTIVITY
The power of myth is very strong in Tolkien's works. According to Sparknotes, one of the conventions of myth is that it describes a past that is more glorious than the present.
Also, the characters will burst into songs, either of joy or lament, throughout this whole book.
I only need a VERSE from a song (any song) that best describes one moment from your past, whether good or bad. :)

SIDE ACTIVITY
1. If you want to try archery, it will cost P600/hour. Inclusive of equipment rental plus instructor. You have to inform me through this thread if you're in, so we can reserve a lane for us. 6-7pm sounds good? Ang sabi nung instructor, mas onti ang tao pag gabi.
2. There is another option: For 3 hours, we can have both the archery range plus food, for P1,000 per head. If 10 persons have a go at this, we can avail this option. Although ang concern nga namin ni Chami ay ung 3 hours is both for archery and eating na. so baka mag-suffer naman ung discussion. So this one's a No-No. Agree? I find it too expensive din kasi.
3. Chami, Po, and I were given 6 trial shots. Mahirap pero masaya naman. So, i think 1 hour of archery is too much for us beginners? We asked if 2 persons can share the 1 hour, not allowed daw.
4. Reminder: the archery is just a side activity for our F2F. The discussion is still the priority so we encourage you to attend both, if possible.

Caltex nga yon. Doon ang meeting place going to Alabat. Across noon ang building kung saan naroon ang Gandiva. I should know. Doon ako nagpapagasolina kung umaga nag-blink ang lights hak hak. Kaso, may pagka-tamad ang mga gasoline boys doon. Or parang kulang sila so matagal ang pila at minsan parang sinasadyang di ka pansinin.

Yung group package kasi ay minimum of 10 people, 1k per head. That's inclusive of food and 3 hours of archery. Magsasawa ka na rito, malamang. Yung 6 trial shots ay medyo masakit na sa daliri (when drawing and releasing the bow string), kaya it's possible na mabalian ka ng daliri in 3 hours (exaggerating lang, hehe).We tried to haggle, like bow-sharing, or 300 for 30 mins, pero ayaw nila. Kasi marami namang nagpapana kaya dedma lang sila sa amin.
Anyway, ang original plan ko sana ay 2-3 PM na ako magpana para chill na lang ako after the discussion. Pero kung may willing (not pressured) na magtry on 6 PM, dun na rin ako.
1000 per head. O_o In fairview may food naman pero mahal talaga. Magkaka-Katniss skills na kaya tayo after nung 600? Haha.
I know it's expensive, kaya we didn't really bother with it. For willing participants only, like Kwesi (hahaha!). Pero baka magka-Katniss skills in 6 shots. Quite unlikely, but I scored a near bull's eye with my last trial shot.From their website:

I think nalakad ko na yan before, on the way to my birthday sa MC Home Depot. Iba nga lang tatawiran. Malayo, pero siguro kung may kasabay maglakad keri lang :)
Naglakad lang kami nina Chami at Po noon. Take note, 7F ang cafe ha, wala lang, baka kasi may maghanap sa immediate surroundings, hindi talaga makikita.
