Is it okey to attend the event even if I haven't read the book (although I watched a couple of the movies /facepalm)? I am contemplating on joining Kristel in attending, but lacked foresight and didn't read the book in question in the last month. :c Ang dami ko kasing ibang gustong basahin. I have the next book, though (bought it a few years ago in the book fair), so I'll be sure to contribute online to that.

Onga pala, sa mga maglalakad from Mega to the venue, pretend that you are hobbits. Yong hobbits, di mahilig sumakay sa kabayo, naglalakad lang sila. Better yet, kumanta kayo kasi ganoon ang hobbits, biglang may maaala-alang kanta, tapos babanat ng walang pasakalye.

Tas ang hobbits din colorful manamit. So, kung di kayo maka-decide kung ano ang susuotin sa Saturday, come in colorful attire para hobbits tayo!

Bakit mas magandang hobbits? Kasi sila talaga ang bida rito sa LOTR. Wala silang powers. Gusto lang nilang kumain, magsaya, magsigarilyo, mababait sila, mahilig sila sa nature, magtanim ng halaman at makulay na buhay. Ni ang umalis sa Hobitton, ayaw nila. Masyado sila homebodies. Tas imagine, isasabak mo sila sa war, hunger, etc. Parang tayo lang generally. Sometimes we feel powerless amidst all the challenges and problems and yet we triumph over adversities in the end.

Protip: If I recall correctly, you can ride a jeep at the back of EDSA Central that goes all the way to Tektite Bldg., which is a few meters away from One Corporate Center (where the cafe is). Baka mas gusto ng mga tao na sumakay na lang dito, pwera mag-lakad nang napakalayo :)

I just called Gandiva, and unfortunately, hindi na tayo makakapag-archery ng 6-7PM. Puno na ang archery lanes. Ang lukaret na manager, suggestion niya ang mag-archery during the F2F discussion. Sarap niyang sakalin.

Yung slots before 3PM ay puno na rin daw. Sorry, hindi ko napareserve agad yung archery lanes. I was caught up with a lot of things. So I guess this is a sign na ... bumili na lang tayo ng copy ng The Remains of the Day, hahaha!
