Checking this from my Kindle...I'm in! Gonna see what I can find for "barbecue," but y'know how it goes...LOL!
Okay - - I just need a "U" book, and am open for suggestions! Worst case scenario, I've downloaded the "Darkfever" Audio Book (I'm going to LISTEN to the FEVER series, at some point" which has "Unseelie" in it. But this is a last-resort, because I've already read this book (but not listened to it) three times or more. :) Help, anyone?WLLK June's Spell It Out: Barbecue

Pamela Palmer has the word 'Untamed' in most or all of the titles of the 'Feral Series'.
Larissa Ione's Demonica Series has some 'U' words in the titles too.
There are also a few Buffy the Vampire Slayer books with 'U' titles (Unseen Trilogy, Unnatural Selection)
Hope those help. :)
I'm going to spell 'Rain Storms'. Summer doesn't actually kick in around here until about July 5th. :)

Question - - I have a Kindle, and can let friends "borrow" the books I've read for 14 days...one time per book. Was wondering if any of you have the ability to share ebooks this way, too, so that maybe the expense of purchasing books can be minimized? For example, I'm looking for Chronicles of Nick - Infinity (book 1). If anyone would like to lend it to me, that would be wonderful! I can also set a new category in my lists of "kindle ebooks to lend" or some such.I know this should/could become a non-spell-it-out-challenge topic...but I thought I'd send it out to y'all first.
Thoughts? Thanks!

If a book is lendable, it would state "Lending: Enabled" on Amazon under the Product Details.
I have a lending list, but haven't been keeping it up to date. http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...
I mainly do my borrowing & lending on http://lendle.me/ . It's a really good lending site!
0/8 completedAll the useful things you can learn on the Internet..
This challenge I'm using the word marriage. I learned June is named after the Roman goddess Juno aka Greek goddess Hera. Goddess of marriage. Plus, I'm married and I live in wedding central USA (Gaitinburg, TN). Plus I work in a department store that does wedding registries so basically marriages are everywhere this month!!
Also ladies here's a quote from Wiki.com I found about the month of June that I had to share. So enjoy!!
"In Iceland, folklore says that if you bathe naked in the morning dew on the morning of June 24, you are supposed to keep aging at bay for longer."
I'm afraid a trip to Iceland would be too late for me!As you can see the ravages of age have already taken their toll...
Lisa Kay wrote: "Guess I'm flying to Iceland."Let me know where you'll be, Lisa Kay, so I can avoid that area. I don't think the poor Iclandic men would ever recover should they stumble upon the both of us bathing nude in the dew.
That much beauty in one area would simply be too much to bear.
Carol. One word: Exfoliate. And Sunblock. So that's two words.
Girl, maybe you should just MOVE to Iceland.
Damn.
Just sayin'...
LMAO! Oh, Lord! Carol & Dhes, I'm glad I just went to the bathroom right before sitting down at the computer. You ladies kill me.
W♥LK: Spell-It-Out JuneI’m in again! I’ll spell S.U.M.M.E.R. W.I.N.D.

It's time for June's Spell it Out! Challenge!
Duration: June 1st through 30th.
Those of you who have been around awhile understand how these challenges work, but for those of you who might be new to the Not Too Challenging Challenges, it's like this:
They work the way you want them to work.
For the Spell it Out! Challenges, choose a word that reminds you of whatever month we're in and make your books fit that word, or vice versa.
Since June reminds me of hot weather, kids out of school for the summer, BBQs, pool parties, out of town guests, etc... so the word I choose to spell is CALGON, as in, GET ME OUTTA HERE!
Example:
C - Carnal Gift - Pamela Clare
A - Ashley, Jennifer - The Duke's Perfect Wife
L - Lisa Kleypas - Rainshadow Road
G - The Golden Dynasty - Kristen Ashley
O - Over the Edge - Suzanne Brockmann
N - Nora Roberts - Black Ice
That's just an example - it's up to YOU to make it work for YOU.
The only restrictions: You can NOT begin reading before June 1st and you must have finished your book on or before June 30th.
Remember to update your stats so they're easy for me to spot. Something like 3 done, or, 4/5, etc... I appreciate it when I can find them quickly!
