31. The scene shows that Devil still has some barely leashed restraint.
Regarding the Dowager - she sees all and knows all :0)
32. I wasn't impressed with Magnus. I was expecting more blustering
33. Charles has creeped me out from the beginning and he comes across as more and more disturbed with every encounter. I don't think he's playing with a full deck.
34. That scene was rather pervy. Did Devil set it up on purpose? Why would he do that?
35. Sweet moment at the cottage.
36. The Cynster cousins are incorrigible. Can't wait for them to meet their matches.
Devil's jealousy was cute. The poor man doesn't know what's hit him, lol!
37. So Honoria is one of the rare people who can smell the bitter almonds. Very convenient.
38. Love Magnum and Higgie Baby!
The story showed how amazing the Duchess is. It annoys me that the Duke cheated on her - what an ass!
39. I've had my suspicions from the start and I'm even more convinced now.
40. Ballistic is an understatement. On the one hand, Honoria's actions are bordering on the TSTL but on the other, Devil shouldn't be keeping her in the dar, especially considering how well he knows her stubborness.

Chp.7-11
#4 - Yes, LS writes the brother very well.
#7 - True.
#9 - Definitely!
Chp.12-16
#2 - LOL!
#3 - Weren't there two maids fighting that caused a delay in the consummation? Geeze-Louise...I can't remember. LOL!
#8 - Yup.
#10 - LOL!

Oh, yeah!

41. Definitely one of Honoria's TSTL moments. On the other hand, I can see her reasoning as she couldn't get hold of Devil and she took Carter and Sligo with her.
42. I like how Devil got over his rage and returned Honoria to his bed despite his anger with her.
43 . I wasn't surprised that he went to check out the note. I was surprised that he didn't barge into the house and call Chillingworth out. He showed some restraint and perhaps this is the best indication that he didn't actually believe the note was true. I also loved that Honoria smacked Chillingworth in the kisser, lol!
44. Made sense to me. They needed proof.
45. Yeah, I knew that would happen. It added to the tension and suspense.
46. I think that Devil showed her how much he loved her. She didn't need the words (although I agree that they are nice).
47. Great scene. I love Devil and his son.
48. Yes, I'm going to continue reading.

Thanks ShoSho. Participating in the discussion really added another layer of enjoyment to reading the book. Can the thread for the next book be opened? I'll probably get to it later this month.

Thanks ShoSho...."

#7. I still remember that scene because of the creep watching! I hated that!"
Yes, it does make it rather icky *shudder*!
