Okay so I still need to catch up with you Scott but I'm reading it right now.It started off a little confusing! but things are making more sense.

Yeah, it's weird eh? Yeah, I'd say sci-fi but there's an element of a grim dystopian world too
^^definitely! Earlier i was reading the part where Melanie meets Jared and he mentions that he hasn't been in contact with another human for two years... :O wow i cannot imagine what that would be like!!
and this part made me laugh: when Wanderer asks her Comforter why she kept the human name kathy to which she replies "the translation of my former name was fourteen words long and did not shorten prettily" I can just imagine going up to someone and saying "hi I'm [insert 14 word long name here]...nice to meet you" *smile* lol OHH I'm going to do that to someone just to see a reaction

Hahaha! Yeah, I loved those bits!! I think it just shows how creative Stephanie Meyer is. I like how it shows a different side to her from the vampire stuff
Yep she got way more creative with this one! Im a little surprised that its considered adult instead of YA?
Yeah, feels more YA to me too. I never really thought of it as adult, but I guess that's what it's listed as.
For a while it was in the adult section at the library but now it has been moved to the YA section.Signing World

Its weird that Wanderer has done this so many times before but this time she's going against her mission. Is it because of Melanie?
And Melanie loving Jared...is that really love or was it just loneliness? At one point melanie says to jared, “If I got to pick anyone, anyone at all, to be stranded on a deserted planet with, it would be you,” I whisper. The sun between us burns hotter. “I always want to be with you. And not just… not just to talk to. When you touch me…” but how does she know that when its only been her and jaime for a long time.

"The love we felt for Jared and Jamie did feel very permanent."Wanderer is saying WE! thats a little weird that she is talking about herself and Melanie as if they were one person sharing the same feelings and thoughts and not just a body.

Yeah it's clear that they are learning to trust each other and therefore becoming closer but shouldn't they each have their own feelings? It's just weird that Wanderer would feel love for Jared and Jaime from someone elses memories. I don't think Wanderer is wrong for helping Melanie!!

Yeah read 27! Ive been at school all day so I'm catching up now!
I hated the way they kept referring to Wanderer as "it" and i understand why they hate her and would rather kill her but its still wrong. I think in the beginning the relationship wasnt mutual..they both got trapped in a situation neither of them wanted. It was as if Wanderer was trying to fight it off and Melanie was trying to get Wanderer on her side but i think that quickly changed when Wanderer started to live through Melanie's memories and discovered love for both Jamie and Jared and the fear of losing them. Either way it think they both rather not be connected as one but are making the best of it since they have no choice in the matter.
Can you imagine how Melanie feels? she is literally trapped with hardly any choice to do as she pleases. and to be united with the two people she loves but not being able to really be there with them, must be frustration.
