As to my write-a-thon count...it just died, dead! Sigh...but I am oh so proud of everyone else in the group! You ALL ROCK!
lol Dee, my goal kind of died too... i should NOT have handed my story over to my lit teacher so that he could read it. 3 days w/o writing... *shudder* but good job to you guys who kept writing!! Hey Dee, mauybe we CAN still do it! i'm gonna keep going anyway ^^
aww honey, I usually write atleast once a day even if it's only 5 words! Also a great tip, if you do something with the story you've been working on mainly start another or just write randomness trust me it works.

Actually, pity or compassion for another's trouble or suffering is the last definition the dictionary gives for sympathy. The first two and part a) of the third are basically how you described empathy: sameness of feeling, mutual liking or understanding, etc.Okay, I can't believe I just looked that up...anyway...=) I do think that there is a point where too much sympathy is just that - too much.
