I don't understand why people don't like it. I think it was really good.

I liked the first book but for some reason could not get past the second one, I'm actually not sure why, but I tried twice and just couldn't
The first books were OK, I think the five or four last ones were the best :DD

Yes, I agree. It's nine books now? And number 10 is definitely coming. Didn't seem like the end in nine anygays.

I liked it not my favorite book but was good enough to read the rest if the series. If you do not like this book give the other books a shot because they are really good.
I did like this books a lot! they only is i think 5 or 6 books would of being enough! That way people would like it more and get a better fast understatement of the story and all! Anyone agrees?
Ya i agree with everyone else……there were too many books in the series but if you really like the series you will find a way to look beyond that.
I liked the series enough that I bought all the books. Some of the books I liked better than others, but as a whole I liked the series.
I thought it was interesting up to book #5. after that, i still read them but, IMO, weren't as good.

I loved the series. I read 8 books in 9 days and preorded the 9th book so that I could have it even though I moved to China.
i like this series,i just stopped reading it. i found out something intersesting thou,it was funny but the author put it in here
I hate how over the whole series Zoe didn't seem to grow. The whole time she whined about everything and didn't seem to care enough about the important things. But read the whole series to find out what happens. They get a little better.
hey I actually LOVED the series.yeah it seemed to going on forever but i enjoyed the suspense thrill and romance.. I'm even waiting for the next book....
This book is so stupid.
Zoe is a whiny slut. The twins are annoying. Jack is stereotypical. Heath is pathetic and can't take a hint. Eric is a jerk.
Stark is probably the only character I could stand.
Of the four or five books that I've read in the HoN series, I saw virtually no character development.
Every book Zoe has the same boy drama, with a different guy.
The villains are mediocre.
The plot was predicable.
The general story idea had a unique spin on a not so unique genre (a YA vampire novel; where have I heard that one before?) but it was poorly executed.
All over, HoN had the potential of being amazing, but the Cast's created world full of two dimensional characters and terrible word building.

Well I on the other hand loved the book. And the only book that I couldn't stand was Tempted, it was very slow!! But anyway I loved this much better than Twilight. Just my opinion!!!

Very well said :)
I disagree, yes Zoey is the person I mostly couldn't stand throughout the book, but yo get past it. How far did you all get into the series??
I liked this one- and the three after that. However, after book 4, it got to the point where I just couldn't stomach reading Zoey anymore. (She was ALWAYS irritating...)the plot got weird and all the other characters were just... eh. all in all, I wouldn't start them

I have read the whole series, I didn't enjot it after the first 3 vooks. However my 10yr old daughter loves the all of them. Hope that helps.
Well it all depends because like said before this is a book for teens, with nothing better to read, so if you don't like it that's probably why. Well anyway I still liked it and I am now finally on Destined, even though there are like five more coming out.
I absolutely adore this series! Some of the writing is a little cheesy but it is definitely a guilty pleasure.
I started out liking it. Got my brother hooked on it lol. Then, after books 4-5 I stopped waiting impatiently for the next book. After # 7 I just gave up...it just got too annoying. I'm not even going bother reading any more books. The story has gotten to where it is just not worth my time or money.
I hated the beginning. Like you had no background on the girl and all of a sudden, like BAM vampire... the writting was choppy, but it had a good plot/story line. It's very creative and although I've only read three of them, her writting gets better as she goes on.
I feel like the writing is kind of...immature although I know it is written and geared towards a certain audience. Anyone else think that?
At first I loved the writing. It was new and exciting and made me really happy that something like that could be published. I did really love the series at first... It was about after the fourth book when it started to go downhill after Zoey had like, three or four guys lusting after her... The book have been getting better lately, but I haven't been enjoying them like I did in the beginning and I think that Cast duo just needs to admit that it's time to finish the story. :(
I LOVED this book. Although, I will admit, the series has gotten a little flat lately. I'm hoping the next book will shake things up a bit.
I thought it was kinda offensive. She was all like, what if I turn into those hideous emo kids, or worse a goth? Firstly allow me to point out we have yet another, shallow, pathetic chick, just like Bella from Twilight. Secondly I'm pretty sure that emos would mob her if she walked out of her house looking like one of them. Although I didn't finish the book I know for a fact it was one of the worst book written (besides Twilight).
Also, I find their writing about gay men too stereotypical. However, I know the authors have done a tremendous amount of work to help LGBT youth.
The first few book are good really good
am findig myselft just reading through the others.

I'm not gonna say that I comepletely hated the book or that I hate the series, i just don't find it to my interest. The story itself is good but its soooooo slow paced and not very eye catching. I think the series should be aimed for older women, not for teens.
Zarah wrote: "once again.. pls no hate comments .. i asked if any body LIKED this series NOT if any body DISLIKED them"Actually I think that saying that someone didnt like it is a valid answer.
If you want only comments from ppl who liked it, you should say so in your first post or name of the thread
you only asked if anyone liked it and saying no is in my opinion a valid answer
even in the threads where its discussed why some books are hated there are ppl who say they liked it and nobody tells them to go away (unless they start insulting those with different opinions)
and if you want to know how ppl feel about the books you should take both part like and dislike
and if you look at the comments most of them say that they liked the books at least at some point but as all long series ppl can change their opinion especially when they think that the books turned to worse
I liked the first one, the second one not so much and when I read a blurb for some later books and saw there that she didnt understand why her friends dot like her anymore because she is with multiple guys (if I understand it correctly - while she was going out with her schoolmate she slept with her teacher - didnt read it, just what others said) at once and she doesnt understand why her friends dont like it I decided that the books are not right for me, I really hate cheating so I dont like books where MC does that and maybe it was too YA for me so I abandoned the seriesBut I liked the idea of the vampires and how they become one
sorry for the spoiler (but yea she did, I think it was the one she finds so irresistible - i think she liked him in book two? I think he was a poet or something? not really sure it has been a few years since I read it)

This is the kind of book that differs from people's imagination. I think its not that cool but yes it is something which is to be read. I dont find the series highly addictive atall.
