Elke (misspider) | 88 comments I would like to know the policy on adding anthologies to serieses. The example is listed within several serieses, whereof each provides a short story for the collection. Here, the Sookie Stackhouse series is shown the as the main series on the book's detail page. Is that a coincidence because that series was added first, or are the serieses in line with the story order?

At first glance it is confusing to find an anthology tied to a special series, when in fact it is a compilation out of many different serieses.

When an anthology contains one story which is part of a series and other stories which are not, I try to add "included" to the anthology's designation in the series so that it's clearer that an anthology included part of this series but is not wholly bound to the series. Examples: standalone short story 11.2 in the Dresden Files series vs an anthology containing that story.

Ah! Thanks for the explanation. For whatever reason, my example books were not added: I was refering to My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding and By Blood We Live. I will take a closer look and add "included" where necessary.
