They've released it this early for all those who've been lucky enough to read Deity already, so they can get some early reviews in for it.

Links were taken down because ppl were reading it before Deity. Well, Deity isn't out for like a month, so what did they expect? 8D And I think it's confusing ppl too. I know I've seen some ppl assume that Elixir is a novella that happens BEFORE Deity.

Well but plenty of people are too curious. I think it was definitely a bad management to release something we cannot read now. It is like torture or mockery towards people who did not have opportunity to read Deity yet. I didn't want to spoil Deity for myself so I just downloaded it so i can read it imediately after Deity is released but still I think it was not very wise thing to do by marketing department

I understand why the publisher did it for the bloggers but I feel like maybe they should have just emailed the bloggers the link and not included it in the cover reveal ya know?

Yaeah you are right, email for bloggers would be better solution. I saw that you rated it with 5 stars, I am sure it was perfect but I am strong and havent read review yet :)

Well there's not really spoilers in my review I try my best not to spoil it BUT if you haven't read the blurb for Elixir it could be spoiler-y. The only thing mentioned is the same as in the blurb

Well I have read Deity and I am not a blogger. I won a copy (and then passed it along for another non-blogger to read). If they had just sent the link to the bloggers I would not have been able to read it. There are others out there who have gotten their hands on Deity and so have read it, but aren't necessarily a big time blog. I think it was fine to release it the way they did. Every single post said don't read if you have not read Deity yet. Its up to the individual to decide to spoil themselves or not spoil themselves. That's personal responsibility. Not the publishers fault.

I HATE spoilers too. I avoid book topic forum--heck I don't even like reading summaries because they often give away a lot of information. I completely understand. You will make it though.

Spoilers can totally ruin a book for me. A lot of the time, because most books I read come on recommendation, I scarcely even read the blurbs. There's nothing quite like going into a book completely blind and being totally surprised. I think I only read the Obsidian blurb AFTER reading the book, and I'm seriously glad I did as it gave LOADS away.

I just checked the Spencer Hill website and it's still saying that it will be available in November. I also was one of those who didn't get over there fast enough to download, so now I'm waiting :(

OHMIGODS…REALLY THAT WAS…*Sign*…SO.FREAKIN.EPIC!!! I love Aiden even more, which I didn't think was even possable :D He's such a man wearing his feelings on his sleeve. I adored him even more when he put his sentinal duties aside and got grubby to perfect Alex. The brother to brother moment was awesome =) My fav fav favorite part is [Did I ever tell you about the first time I saw you.
