I realize you posted this over a year ago, but I totally loved all of the entire series. I have them all and I sometimes contemplate re-reading all of them. :)
Lmao...yeah...i havnt been able to read the rest ((i stopped at 17)) because my school doesnt have them but yeah....
and now that its been a year, i can spell "hey" =)

Hey I love them too! well, i did read them in books format until 28 in my country, before it stopped for a unreasonable reason. They said, it wasn't popular enough to be published in Indonesia.I read the rest of the serial in e-book. Oh, May 2011 Scholastic plan to re-publish the serial with little change in the story. Changes are needed just to make it up to date. That's all i know about animorphs.
I have the whole collection. I read it with my first two sons, then my youngest read it, and pretty soon I'm going to re-read it. I think it's pretty wonderful, smart *and* fun.
I've started again.I remember reading them when I was a kid and trying to collect them all. Never managed, and I never finished the series.
Now I'm definitely going to try get through them all - including the megamorphs, alternamorphs and other side books
I love this series. I started reading them in junior high, but then they stopped coming out. Later I ran across them in college and was able to find the whole collection on ebay. Yep I'm a nerd and bought all 55 and all the extra mini series for like $300. I stayed up and read them for weeks. I was just thinking of pulling them out again and re-reading them. At one time they ran an Animorph show on Nickoledon.
I read Animorphs a while ago and totally enjoyed it! It's my first sci-fi series; even now I still re-read some of the books, especially the last few books when the war becomes open. You're right, it's hard to find fellow Animorphs fans. I think this series deserves more exposure and wider fanbase. Oh well.
I never finished these when I was young, so I decided to try to reread them all this summer. The library collection is pretty hit and miss so I'm mostly just reading PDF versions. I'm digging it though!
I read the ninth one when I was in fifth grade. Recently, as I was poking around the internet, looking for books to read (and discovered this site because of that), I found the Animorphs. They had been showing up on websites that I occasionally visit. I bought the most recent editions of the first two at Barnes and Noble, and I have ordered the rest of the, up to book 50, and I've read to book 24.I like them because they are much darker than I would've originally thought. It suprised me, actually, how the series portrays the loss of innocence in these kids, and how they have to make decisions, and the morals of the war they're fighting and that sort of stuff. I like it a lot.
Darker and richer, more complex, nuanced, and thoughtful. Not 5-star reading, but still better than lots of folk realize. Imo.

I've read these books like eons ago. I loved them. Didn't get into the megamorphs though. And yes I did see the tv show when it was on. It wasn't too bad. And the guy that played the alien really seemed to get a career boost from being on there. He has been in quite a few shows lately.
I own most of them but when I read the books they were out of print. I could only get them off the web and from garage sales and junk but now I own most of them. I read the first one over 17 times. No joke.
I used to own them way back in my hey day had up to book 15 or 18 or so. But when I got into high school I grew up and sold em for a bit of cash and moved on to more paranormal and urban fantasy stuff.

I loved these books as a kid and my fiance returned from a trip to New York with the reissues of #1 & #3. I just finished rereading The Invasion and the story held up surprisingly well!

Wow
Anna Lee wrote: "Did you guys check out the TV show?"I did. They made too many changes for my liking and the special effects look really wierd. xD
Aurora wrote: "I never saw the tv show. It was on before I was watching much television."No you can see it now if you want. i just saw it a few days ago on youtube. ^^
I have read almost all of them. That was like 3 years ago, but reread my favorites on occasion. I never watched the TV show though.
Sam, how do you choose favorites? I mean, weren't most of them almost the same as each other? Maybe I don't remember them that well - it's been like 10 years. But when I re-read them, I'm wondering how I'm going to be able to write all those reviews for books that aren't really all that different from each other.... Clue me in?
Well, I always liked the ones written from Rachel and Jake's perspectives. I also particularly enjoyed the ones where the Eliminist was involved. I got really annoyed whenever David was mentioned, though.
Heeey I really like Animorphs but in my country there only are 8. I've read them all online and I wish I had them in hand! I just love them!
One of my first young adult fantasy book. And I daresay still one of the best. I still haven't seen many that could compare to Animorphs in term of character developments and the gruesome reality that they struggled with. Plus, it didn't give a 'all is well in the end' ending. Great stuff!

"I bought some in Swedish, and I loved them. Then I tried to find more of them but they were only published by a book club for kids and the Animorphs were the only books I was interested in, not the rest of what you would receive monthly, so I didn't join the book club and had to find them in second hand bookstores or flea markets and I found 10 so far and I liked them all. Over here they don't sell them in English either, at least I have not found them and when I tried to buy them through the internet, the shipping was double the price of the books :(
But things might have changed the last years so I will check it out again.
I own 1-40. I liked the first 10 but then it seemed to get repetitive. I ended up reading 1-52 but I didn't real like them after the first few. It got boring. :-/
