“A Look Back” ~ A Year of Books from Gigi’s Favorite Read of the Month
I'm thinking maybe, Gigi, because I've been struggling with this one b/c of my remodel. I guess I can change the rules, if I want. LOL!
Maybe I should make a "Miss a Month Card" - but the make-up book has to be >300 pages (or whatever), or something. What do you think?
Sounds fair. You'd think it'd be easy to commit to read one book for a challenge a month, but with life and other challenges, it isn't always that easy :)

I really wanted to read this but keep hearing its to much like the breeds series so don't think i'll read it.
Well, I tried the Breeds series and it was way too much for me. I can't say if they're similar, but even if they are, this is a much tamer version that I can actually read. I've heard others say that, though, so it may be true.

A *MAKE-UP MONTH* allows you to skip a month and make-up it up the next month by reading two books from that month's selection. You have two (2) of these. Luckily, you can use it in advance. Meaning, if you know next month is going to be rough, you can use it and read two books.
Yes! I had it ready yesterday, but GoodReads was acting up. Looks like it is having problems again today. **sigh**

I'm up tp the same on both but was talking about the Parasol series.
Oh, yes...there is that big cliffhanger between 2 and 3. I know I enjoyed it more b/c I could read #3 right away, if I wanted. I don't think I would have been as happy, if I was waiting for the next book to come out. Hate cliffhangers like that.

Ok think i'm going to be the first to use a card :-( just haven't decided which one yet. I've started 2 of the books for this month but don't feel like reading them.
Nah. You're not the first, Elishia. I had to use the Ace Author Card in July. I wasn't very happy about it, but I had to! LOL!

I am trying to catch up but I'm having a hard time getting the book choices due to my library not having the books/holds being long or because they are series books I haven't read/can't get. I am going to try to get caught up but it's getting frustrating....lol I didn't realize some of these books would be that hard to get but once again that's the joys of living in small town NOWHERE!!!!!
