Miss Marva's Pit Bulls are really quite sweet, and their names are a trivia question. Answer: (view spoiler).

I agree. I am sure this book does have a good story line to it and I have seen lots of good reviews about it. One day I will pick it back up and read it. I guess I was just in a bad mood that day and it caught me off guard LOL

S (booksstarsmoon) | 884 comments Thanks Lisa! I just can't follow my plans :-) However, I am so glad I picked What I Did For a Duke. It was one of the best books that I've read in a long time! So romantic, funny and the best hero and heroine! Usually you love one of them but here both were wonderful <3

I've only read the first one, but I was rather disappointed in that one and it kind of scared me off the other ones although I'm also a fan of Julie. I loved her first book To Love a Thief which was much more like What I Did For a Duke (very lighthearted with a funny and majorly awesome heroine and hero). I also really liked The Runaway Duke, but then as I said I got a bit scared off by The Perils of Pleasure. Have you read the others in the Pennyroyal Green series?

I also updated myself. I read another novella, Alpha & Omega A Companion Novella to Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, Prequel) by Patricia Briggs . I actually read it first last year and it has been calling me again. It was quick and short and one of my favs of 2011. What with the craziness in my house, I couldn't resist it!

I also saw this, and thought it was too cute to pass up:
