It's a sickness. I'll be going to Nashville in a few weeks. You know, the town with all the country music stuff. Even if you don't just love country music, it seems reasonable to think I might look around at what makes this city so special. So do you know what just did? Looked to see what bookstores are within walking distance of my hotel. It's a sickness.

and libaries. We almost went to live in St moritz and the only thing i knew where it was is the library...
I knew already where it was before coming to dublin, how to go there, ow far.... and I went like 2-3 times in the first week and after that every week like that for the first month.
I'm going to have to buy a book. But it's not exactly for pleasure reading. I'm helping my friend lead a Bible study and I need the book they're using. Other than that, I've been clean for around 3 weeks.Anyone heard from Ich lately?
I take that back. I won't be buying the book because I'm not going to be helping with the Bible Study after all. I'm a little disappointed because I was looking forward to getting the opportunity to sort of mentor girls that are younger than me, but it's OK because I won't have to miss my TV show on Mondays and I won't have to buy the book.
Eh, I'm just proud of the personal growth that had to take place for me to even consider something that would interfere with the TV show. I could have just said, "Oh, Monday night. Yeah, I'm busy."
I have to admit I noticed immediately that there is a library not 2 blocks from my hotel in Nashville. I doubt they'd let me bring books home, though. Not that I won't drop by. They might have a cart or something with castoffs. Oops, this is supposed to be the I must-not-buy-any-more-books-thread.
I went two weeks without buying a book. Then someone gave me a gift certificate at Borders and of course I couldn't, NOT use it. LOL I broke down and bought two books.
I hope you like Howl's Lisa...it didn't come quite as near to my heart as Graceling, but I loved it!
Allison, you've been going on and on about Graceling so much that I had to move it onto my "To Get Post Book Ban" shelf. It'd better be good! ;)
I couldn't do it. I tried and failed. I just joined 4 Barnes and Noble book clubs and had to buy the books. Then I saw a buy 2 get one free sale at the store... I am hopelessly addicted. Library books don't work I take home more than I can possibly read. I recycle my books giving away to family and friends and only keep what I plan to reread.
Know what you mean about tempted. I couldn't stand it any longer and ordered two books by Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston. My husband is going to kill me. Stop me before I buy again! :))
LOL I did ask her and others on another thread what I should buy with my gift certificate. hehe!!!OH and Becky, I am reading Graceling right now and I am loving it. You definatly need to put it up on your TBR list.
LOL! I want to read Graceling. My friend did a review of it on Youtube that made me want to read it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHRD3F...
I haven't bought anything, but I did accept a book in trade from a GR friend. "Slaughterhouse 5" by Kurt Vonnegut. I... I couldn't help it!
so Becky do you have Graceling already or do one of us have to send it to you for you to read it? LOL
No... I don't have it yet. It's on the "To Get" list, but I will bend my rules if you're willing to send it to me! I can be flexible! :)
See how quickly my rules and regulations go out the window. On chink in the armor and it all falls apart. LOL

I was going to wander in it because it is soo big and jsut love it, hoping to eb strong but feeling very weak.....but I was chained!
Ok, who here wants to confess? I'm wondering who has the record for the most books bought at any one time. Used OR New.
So, they blocked GR at my work, the only steady library access I have. I am still alive though, and by the way...THIS IS DAY 26
