Blackout and its sequel are about timetravelers going back to/stuck in 1940. Not really too fantastical, besides the time traveling.

Likewise, there's this story of a Jewish vampire that touches on WWII. It's from an anthology of YA vampire stories but is also online here: http://lah.nithaus.org/Pages/writings...
I was debating about a book A Rag, A Bone, and a Hank of Hair. It's mostly SF about future cloning of some WWII children and their nanny and how the future folk keep them thinking they're living in that past time. They introduce a boy to the children who is from their own future time but who pretends he is from their time period. Things start to blur between "reality" and story toward the end of this, though it's hard to define exactly if it crosses enough into paranormal.
