Wow! Thanks, Kim. Got it. Only 99 cents. Perfect for my budget. I was looking for Volume 3, as well as the cover shown on G.R., but with approx 4000 S.H. assorted versions of S.H. books, I guess I didn't click enough times to spot it.
If you ever want more of Sherlock Holmes; somewhere on Amazon they got the complete volume for only $15! Just if anyone is interested.
Barb, for a free Kindle version of all (or most of?) of Sir Conan Doyle's work, pop over to Gutenberg.org http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/search/Sir Conan's books are in the public domain, so it's quite legal to dld them for free, depending on the laws of your particular country, of course.
The .mobi version will work on your Kindle.

It's a good deal. It has occasional illustrations - which I find to be helpful in depicting the clothing and accessories of the time period. The Table of Content works and it is easy to navigate to the right story. It's a good price for the entire collection.
On the other side, there are two problems. Some of the stories contain typos (I can't say I have found many.... maybe a half-dozen in the first half of the entire collection... but they are annoying - and clustered; didn't spot any in the 'adventures'). Second, while everything else seems to be in the logical order, the stories in the 'Return of' are in alphabetical order. I am not sure it makes a difference, as I have not read that part yet.
The collection is sitting on both my kindle and SONY, working find after Calibre epub conversion.

The link in L.E. email to find copy has NADA in it.
Maybe in June, I'll luck out.
