Paul Jones (paulantonyjones) | 32 comments I was wondering whether anyone had read this book by German author Wolfgang Jeschke? It was published in the 80's and seems to have disappeared.

Here's the Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last...

No worries. I noticed that Amazon has a hardback copy for $279 ... but there are paperback versions available for $4 or so.

Well, at that price I better only order two of the hardback editions. LOL

Let us know your thoughts when you finish reading it, Jaye!

Was reading the wiki link of this book, sounds very interesting. What interested me even more though, being an avid games player is that there is was an RPG PC game called Original War based on this book in 2001. A very old game but appears to be a very good with plenty of plot twists. I'll head over to the TT games thread and talk more about it.

Thanks for the mention, Paul!

Eqreader | 1 comments I read this book in Spanish, It took my breath away for all the witty and philosophical implications. A book that has not lost its suprise even for someone who read it 30 years later than originally written.

Someone should make a movie out of this book

Chris Stutts | 8 comments "Last Days of Creation" was really enjoyable. Translations are always a little strange though.

Michele | 144 comments Hm, this is the GR link Last Day of Creation but the description sounds different. Is this the same?

Chris Stutts | 8 comments The GR description is wrong. The Wikipedia description is of the book I read. Blue artwork though.
