I can't even guess on Day or June. But I think Ivana Baquero would be a good Kaede. Also Willow Sheilds would be a good Tess. Or maybe a lesser known person like Sadie Sink? I honestly have no idea.

Is there even going to be a Legend movie? I'm getting really worried because I heard Jonathan (the supposed director) dropped out... I looked at IMBd's website, and it said the movie was going to come out in 2016. It's been 4 years... anybody have an idea of what's happening?

But fans are signing this petition that will hopefully get the studios attention

I don't know why they've taken so long to make this. This is story is so much better, in my opinion, than Divergent and The Hunger Games and yet both of them were made into films. Sometimes I wonder if it's a race thing because Day is half Asian and June is also mixed. I remember reading that Marie Lu said she was fighting to make sure they keep their ethnicities. If CBS Films won't make this film I really hope they sell the rights to another studio because I'm sure other studios want it.
I think it is just harder to make thing book into a film.

Okay, I thought Ryan Potter was a good fit age, height and look wise, but I wasn't sure if he would be able to pull off the acting part of it. I just came across Booboo Stewart and he's nearly perfect, I think! He's only about 21, he's done stunt work, he has won awards for martial arts and he is half white/half asian. He also frequently has long hair and can pull it off better than a lot of guys and his career really seems to be taking off.http://www.imdb.com/media/rm112113152...

I haven't been following this entire thread, but Lindsey Morgan (she plays Raven in the 100) is kind of how I pictured June. As for Day, I honestly have no idea. There aren't many Asian male actors to begin with, and I'm worried he might end up looking silly on screen with long blond hair. Book characters sometimes don't translate well to movie characters.

In response to those who think that June and Day are of Asian or Hispanic ethnicities, on Marie Lu's Reddit she said that June is a mix of races, but her dominant race is Native American, and Day's is Mongolian and Russian :)

It makes me so disappointed that so many of you failed to notice that Day is HALF MONGOLIAN! Also, June is Native American, Latina, and Caucasian. Please don't try to white wash the cast like they do in every other movie which were originally books.
Hailee Steinfeld as June would be perfect ;)
