Hi all. I'm confused about tags. To help categorize my book I tried to tag it myself with 'contemporary fiction', but it hasn't worked. Is it not possible to tag your own books? I read a blog post about how indie authors should tag their books to help readers find it. Maybe I misunderstood.

I tagged and liked you Richard.@Erin, yes you should be able to tag your own books. I was able to do mine. Sometimes Amazon is weird and you have to log off the net entirely and then log back on and you're able to do it. Yesterday, I tried to like someone and the tag wouldn't come up, but after I logged out and logged back in, the like tag came up.
