I read the book and wrote a review, now what do I do?

I got contacted for my first blog tour, so I read the book right away and even wrote a review. What do I do now? Do I contact the host? Does the host decide on whether I'm doing an author interview or giveaway or whatever for my post? Please help! :)

I would email the host and ask what they want you to do. If you have a preference for interview, giveaway, etc., let them know :)

Sheri is right, contact the host. As for whether or not you want to do an interview or a guest post, decide what direction you want to take your blog in. For example, I write a blog about what it means to be an author in the 21st century, so I generally ask authors to write about that topic. I'll opt for the guest post if the book in question isn't one that is urban fantasy (since that's what I mostly write).

Otoh...If I do an interview, it's because I want my readers to get to know more about the book itself. If a book is UF or PNR, I'll opt for the interview.
