Dancing Rain saw Shard get up. "Morning... or... afternoon, I guess." She grinned. "Fang's still asleep, I think. If he isn't, he didn't say anything to me this morning... Then again I didn't say anything to him... I think he's mad at me."

Dancing Rain snorted. "Why does that not surprise me..." she muttered.
Dancing Rain laughed too. "I am! I'm just saying, he seems like a grudge carrier!"
"See, I think that merely because he's the only male Pegasus I've found... But his attitude is a contribute, too."
Laya shook her head. "The males... they did this before. A few years ago, a smaller herd of humans came, and they fought them. They killed them all... but the humans killed them..."
Shard looked at her, eyes wide. "I never heard that... I guess we're lucky to have Fang then..."
Dancing Rain laughed. "If the herd finds out about him, though... Well, let's just hope they don't." She laughed again, then sobered. "That's what I meant when I told him we needed more, not less..."
((kk))
"Well, that's all beside the point! How long until Fang will talk to me?" She started eating some grass.

Dancing Rain shrugged. "Eh, I'm used to it."
Dancing Rain grinned. "I didn't mean just him. I'm always by myself!"
"Before you, yes, always." Dancing Rain nodded in confirmation.

Thirn walked up to Fang and nudged him awake. "Two things." She said, getting straight to the point.
Dancing Rain laughed lightly. "Oh, of course it doesn't! Where you come from, your business. I'm Dancing Rain... I think something was wrong with my parents. I seem to be the only one with a long complicated name like that!" She laughed again.
Dancing Rain grinned. "Ah... I think I'm supposed to be offended, but I'm not."
((yay!))
Shard laughed, rolling her eyes. "Didn't you hear me? Oh well, whatever. My name is Shard." She looked at Cobin. He certainly didn't look like he was from around here. But she liked the way he just seemed to stand and observe everything.

Shard eagerly bounced over to him. "So are you going to stick around with us? Or are you just visiting?" She hoped that the weird fluttery feeling in her hearth would go away. This wasn't the time to be falling in love.

Dancing Rain snorted. "I can tell you're nice already. They tried kicking me out, so I left, but I still stay a little less than a mile away. They don't have much power... not since..." She stopped. "Eh, it doesn't matter!"
Fang stared at Cobin, aggression showing in his eyes. Whether or not he was lead of the "herd", Cobin was an intruding male. Only one male was allowed.
Dancing Rain's eyes flashed when she heard Fang talking, but ignored it. If he was mad at her, so be it. It was for his own good. She drank some more water, listening.
Dancing Rain grinned at the snort and started looking for some berries nearby.

Dancing Rain found some berries and started eating.
Dancing Rain heard something. She looked up to see Fang sharpening his horn. She shook her head and went back to the berries as if she hadn't heard anything. Why were guys always obsessed with looking tough?...
Dancing Rain rolled her eyes, but pretended to remain oblivious.
Dancing Rain raised her eyebrows, not sure if this was still ignoring her or not. It could go either way, he could be just eating...
