I love YA <3 Everyone recommends Divergent, and it is a good book, but it didn't excite me the way the Hunger Games did.
Personally, I'd recommend Blood Red road by Moira Young, the Chaos Walking trilogy (Patrick Ness) and maybe Graceling by Kristin Cashore.

I've read:
-the maze runner series
-enclave (which i really liked)
-obsidian Jennifer L. Armentrout (lux series-favourite book at the moment - can't wait for august when onyx comes out)
My two favourite series right now are:
-The Greywolves Series by Quinn Loftis (hilarious)
-Significance Series by Shelly Crane
I'd recommend all of the above as they are all really good :)

I read Birthmarked by Caragh O'Brien. Nicely written, fast-paced, addicting, all the adjectives that describes The Hunger Games.
I jumped into Fire and Graceling after I finished Catching Fire (as Mockingjay was still a good 10 months away). But I don't remember what I read after I had finished Mockingjay. I was probably into school books then because it came out around the time I started school again.
I read Shiver by Maggie (somethin fancy as a last name)
It was quite swell :D

After reading this trilogy, I went right into Delirium by Lauren Oliver and soon after the sequel, Pandemonium. Both are Dystopian and have Romance throughout. Those are the first books of hers I've read. Very well written. The wording in those books is like poetry, a very nice change from the limited vocabulary in The Hunger Games. They focus more on Romance than The Hunger Games; it's a nice change of pace. I plan to read more Dystopian novels such as Divergent, The Maze Runner, and classics like The Giver (again) and 1984.
Read the Maze runner It is so good and kinda has the same taste to it as hunger games.(:
Divergent by Veronica Roth was vety good. It's sequel "Insurgent" is coming out in May.
i read Uglies series, Tha maze runner series, and now on page 452 of Delirium. I still have Hex Hall, Graceling and Eon on my next-to-read books tho :D
I don't read a whole lot of YA, but one of my favorite books overall is YA- the book thief. it was great.
I read Divergent
and Delirium
and I also read Matched
these are all distopian type novels. I am currently reading Partials
which is also Dystopian.

I read (not YA) What Alice Forgot and it was great!
Now I'm reading Time Riders (YA). It's pretty good, but it's no Hunger Games.
