Lyla sniffed trying to control herself, those scientists were going to come to her house soon to look for her and her parents were there completly unaware

Laya slumped in her seat. She had done all she could really do... They came to the warehouse and she went inside.

Lyla followed Laya inside, "i better stop being sad it won't get me any friends" she thought to herself

Laya sat down on the couch to think. She noticed Lyla was sad. "What is it?"

"It's just that my parents are coming home today and those awful people are going to come to my house to look for me and my parents will be there and they don't know about any of this."

Laya looked down. "Do you have a cell phone? I don't think that's traceable..."

Laya pursed her lips. "Well, there might be..." Laya searched the warehouse until she found what she was looking for. "Ha! An extra phone... I think..."

Laya slipped through everyone to take a walk.

Lauren sank next to a tree, and started to eat the dried fruit she had packed. Throughout her meal, she kept nervously looking around, always prepared to sprint away.

Laya was lost in thought, swinging from branch to branch until she was above someone that looked like Christy. Which meant... that this was probably the infamous Lauren. She remained silent.

Lauren felt a presence nearby her, and immediately went into a defensive position, while slowly walking away.

Laya smiled. She had been found out. She dropped to the ground, holding her hands out to the sides to reassure her. "Hi."

Lauren's eyes widened, then she took off into the trees. Her hair flew out behind her, and her legs were going faster than she ever had gone before.

Laya dropped her arms to her sides in defeat and sat down. "Bye!" She yelled out. "You know, it's not nice to leave without saying bye!" She called out even louder. She wasn't sure if Lauren had heard her or not.

Lauren rolled her eyes. goodbye? she thought to herself. That girl actually thought I was going to say goodbye!

Laya was suddenly irritated and her fingers crackled with electricity. I try helping her, try being nice, and she just keeps running!! Doesn't she know who are around here??? Ugh! Laya sat up and ran the direction Lauren ran. She ran as fast as she possibly could. "You're getting on my nerves, Lauren McGregor!!" She tried to contain her electricity.
