She paused, lost in memories. "His name was Flatfoot, because of the way he walked. Our medicine cat wasn't sure if he'd become a warrior at first, but he did. He just had to always be with a smelling cat on patrols."

"Well, that's reassuring," Brightcloud murmured. "What happened to him?"

"He lived a long time, died in a Shadowclan raid, protecting some kits," Redleaf mewed. "Now scat, I need some beauty rest!"
