Looking for specific type of fantasy books

There's a lot going on in the books, but one of the parts I remember best is a big great mystery: the immortal servants of the various gods are disappearing - djinn and angels and the whole lot - and without them, the order of the world is falling apart. I believe that involves a Lost City of the Immortals at some point, but it's been so long that I've forgotten the particulars. You might like to check out a few reviews and see if it matches with what you've enjoyed before - I may have to go pull my copies off the shelf again in the meantime!

I feel like there is other lost place fantasy I should be able to think of, but it's eluding me. Oh yeah, The Porcelain Dove. Still more. If I think of it I'll post it.
I should note that neither of those read much like Rothfuss at least.

Apologies in advance if you start following threads and end up three hours later entertained but exhausted. TV Tropes does that to you.

Acacia: The War with the Mein (other topics)The City of Dreaming Books (other topics)
The Porcelain Dove (other topics)
I just finished reading the two books of patrick rothfuss and peter v. brett.
Now I am looking for books like these.
What I really like about fantasy books are for example old lost cities (like the mines in LoTR) or old lost secrets. Like when there is a long lost book, or long lost magic in ancient ruins. Stuff like that :)
Maybe there are some books you can recomend?
That would be really great!
Thx A lot!
