A customer of mine is looking for a recent YA Sci-Fi novel about a young woman who is the product, at least partially, of cloning after a large visible virus attacks earth, beginning with sucking Salt Lake dry. She may be the daughter/granddaughter of the president. Spanglish is widely spoken around the world in this future, and the main character is the descendant of the first Hispanic President of the US. The girl is getting ready to go to college on a spaceship orbiting the moon.
