Library Nymph I was just wondering, from those who've read this book, is it good. Oh, and no spoilers just in case I read it. :)

Cayra It's good, nothing amazing. I'd read it if I were you. Be warned, this series is like a roller coaster: it has a lot of ups, but unfortunately a lot of downs. It makes it hard to get motivated to continue. I stopped on Tempted two years ago and haven't worked up the enthusiasm to pick up the two that have come out since.

LOL. Thanks for the warning. :) I'll give it a whirl.

Cayra :) Enjoy (or bear through, whichever)

Dawn I liked the series...I think some of it could have moved a bit faster and Book 7 could have been combined into book 8.

I really like the series, but a lot of people don't so I don't know if you would like it.

Library Nymph Cayra wrote: ":) Enjoy (or bear through, whichever)"

LOL. ;)

Shweta if you like vampire books go for it, and i would say it's worth to read the series but you've got to make sure that you read it in order.

Jessica no it not worth it just trust me

Beatrice The first books in the series were okay, but I was so annoyed with the characters at one point I couldn't bear to continue reading. It was a pity, really.

Whitney The characters suck big time.

what a lie

Stephen I'd suggest that you check out what folks have written in their reviews for this book. Reviews tend to contain more details and more well formed opinion than simple discussion topics.

Be aware. You can sort reviews by star rating so that you can read both positive and negative reviews in making your decision.
Only you can decide what merits your reading time.

Very true. :)

Turtles All the Way Down Euhhhhh It's not a particularly horrible book, but it's the only readable book in the series. I would feel unkind if I didn't warn you that the last few books in the series only exist so the author and the publishing company can milk their readers for more money. The plot doesn't advance at all in them, and Zoey becomes less and less likable as the story goes on.

Jennifer its average the first 2 we bearable but by the third it was just so repetative i couldnt bear to read anymore. it just got sooo boring.

message 17: by Jen (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jen it definitely drags on after the first few books

michelle mc auley i loved it but you have to be into vampires and the gothic triangle theme.you should try but give it atleast a few days tops :)

Stephen Jst finished the third installment in the saga. You can check out my review here

Kristin (Young Adult Book Haven) I liked the series in the beginning but it starts to drag on and the newest book to come out i was disappointed

Connie No, not at all. I read the first book and I couldn't stand to finish the series.Trust me, it's not that great.

message 22: by KaDee (new) - rated it 1 star

KaDee No. That's all I'm gonna say.

Morgana_lefay I think it depends on your tastes. I quite liked the first book and tried twice to finish the second one and I just couldn't so my opinion would be no, it's not worth it.

Just Joe I FREAKING LOVE THIS SERIES!!! Though I was recently disappointed with awakened. It made me angry and I have not gotten a chance to read the newest one. I hope they make up for it and Neferet dies. She needs to die.

❤Claire❤{Jax Teller} I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Grace I'm not sure what to tell you. I loved the series, but lately the more recent books don't get me excited. I'm mean their still easy to read, but compared to the earlier books, their not as good. Don't get me wrong some shocking stuff still happens... I don't know, I think you should read it and formulate your own opinion.

message 27: by Lena (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lena Is it worth reading... it depends... are you easily pleased, too bored to care, or masochistic?

message 28: by Vyta (new) - rated it 1 star

Vyta No dot read it. DO NOT. I wanted something easy to read...Yeah. Well this book was horrible. The main character is 100proc Mary-Sue. That doesn't scare you? Okaaay. Then there is a fact that this book is not logical (minus the vamp things...) A new girl at school finds bffs faster than I can find milk in a food store...And so quickly she forgets her old friends. Oh, and there's the fact that three guys love her and she loves them too...am, nympho, much? :D.
Oh, and she's vain: Page 277: "Aphrodite laughed a throaty, I'm-so-grown-up-and-you're-just-a-kid laugh. I really hate it when girls do that. I mean, yes, she's older, but I have boobs, too." ...Bravo.

This book has everything what makes YA books bad (I'm not going to mention all things), but if you're going to read it then good luck.

message 29: by Lena (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lena Haha

Alixendra I would definitely have to agree. I started the books, but then I stopped. Every single book it seemed as if she had a new guy or bff...yet she loved them ALL!! Series/ books like that annoy the hell out of me. Especially in teen romance novels...it is all repetitive!

message 31: by Lena (last edited Mar 29, 2012 12:19PM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lena Okay, I have to ask. Is that really your name? (This is not meant in an offensive way, I've just never seen this before.)

Bianca I really liked the books, you might too :)

Beth ~Mrs.SheldonCooper~ Of course it was. I think you'll like the whole series too.

message 34: by Dawn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Dawn I think the best suggestion I can make about this series: Borrow it from your local library. Start the series this way, then if by the second or third book you don't like it, at least you wouldn't have wasted any money on buying it. Like I said before, I liked it. But each person has different tastes in books. If you loved Vamp Academy you may enjoy this one.

Charlotte After reading the fifth book, I've dumped the series!

Rhiannon I'd say no x

Allison not unless your a fan of useless drama and a sex scene everyother page with all differnt guys.

Lena Allison wrote: "not unless your a fan of useless drama and a sex scene everyother page with all differnt guys."

Well, that is certainly an over-exaggeration...

message 39: by Rhiannon (last edited Mar 30, 2012 10:00AM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Rhiannon I'd say it's a pretty accurate description actually lol

message 40: by Lena (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lena Well, I agree up until 'sex scene every other page'.

Library Nymph Allison wrote: "not unless your a fan of useless drama and a sex scene everyother page with all differnt guys."

Oh, ew! Really?

message 42: by Lena (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lena EXAGGERATING EXAGGERATING EXAGGERATING

message 43: by C.C. (new) - rated it 2 stars

C.C. Im sorry but I got to be honest.
The first few books were entertaining but as the series dragged on, the story just got sloppy. Teenagers were portrayed stereo typically. Most especially the main character was written to be a cheap idiotic and irresponsible girl.

Nicole "This is the song that never ends!" You know that song? Good, because it's exactly like this book series. Annoying and totally pointless. Bleh. I read some of the recent installments and let me tell you, it just drags on, leaving a bad taste in your mouth. I'm one who wants to finish a book series once i've started it, but when its written in such a sloppy manner and goes absolutely nowhere, one tends to want to put the book down gently...and then bang their head against the wall repeatedly for two hours straight, trying to remember why you took time to read the book in the first place (and point being why it wasn't the book that I chucked across the room, into the wall was because I'd borrowed it from a friend. Not polite to scuff up someones property, no matter how irritated you may be by it). I still have a headache and its been a few months since I've looked over the thing...so no, i wouldn't recommend reading it.

Brigette Ragland its pretty good. i think the series is dragging on an on but each book leaves me wondering what will happen next so yeah ill say read it!!

Elizabeth I liked the first four books and then it just went downhill from there for me. I stopped after six, I'm not even curious enough to see how it ends. Hope this helps.

message 47: by Kejje (new) - rated it 1 star

Kejje ya the frist books are good but the middle ones like the 6th,7th, and 8th arent really that intresting but the 9th and 10th are better

Gemma Newey It is a good book - interesting take on vampire compared to other novels, but nothing to massively rave about. If you like a good series of vampire novels, then try it out.

Delia Lauren wrote: "I was just wondering, from those who've read this book, is it good. Oh, and no spoilers just in case I read it. :)"

I've read the whole series, I thought it was interesting and kept my attention. I'm acutally looking forward to the next intallment.

Megan I honestly didn't like this series very much, they seemed boring to me. Once I got to book three I just had to stop. But, that's just my opinion, I'm not very into vampires and boarding schools.
