Did anyone else think that the 3rd series, 4th series, etc. was a bit much?

I thought that after the second series, she really should have ended it. Don't get me wrong; warrrriors is one of my favorites. I just thought that Erin Hunter wore out the idea. But, that's just me. I don't mean to offend anyone. =)

DID NOT, I thought they where still good even after the4th seriesbut if that's what you think OK with me
Yes, I read the first one pretty soon after it came out. I kept up until the middle of maybe the third series (?) but eventually I lost interest and didn't keep up. Pretty cool idea, and for middle school kids it's a great action series, but I do think the dozens of books that are out now are a little excessive.
I got through the second book of the fourth series before I finally determined that I did not want to keep up with the continuation of these cats anymore. The first series was great; it was fresh and intriguing, and the second series was even better, and the third series was needed to show the rebuilding of all their lives. I just feel that because they haven't condensed the stories of characters to just one series (such as Brambleclaw/Squirrelflight, their children, etc.) each, that's what makes it drag on more than anything. I disliked the fourth series the most because it should have been part of the third, and also we only received a third of the new characters we've gotten in the past.
didn't like the next series. seriously that was the first time i had read with more than one perspective who wasn't even firestar and then they MOVED AWAY. i was so sad. but trust me the first series was really the beginning of the real plot. seriously the omen of the stars is about tigerstars revenge on firestar, which just might just be successful:( and every cat has matured so much and its much darker and amazing. so many deaths and betrayals and secret love and the evil vs. the good. i promise you if you keep with it you will LOVE it.
ya.... a little weird.... still love 'em tho.
I like all of the Warriors series. :D

Yeah...
I'll be sad if Firestar dies, but I'll be fine.. :|
I liked the first and second series, but not the 3rd series as much, the 4th series is pretty good, though. :D

Idk why, I just felt like it was kind of like a big prolouge, but I like Jayfeather and Hollyleaf, though, they're pretty cool. :D
Six book long prolouge, but it did lead to the so far interesting Omen of the Stars, though. :)
I'm right now in the middle of the 3rd series and it is somewhat boring but the first was the best... HANDS DOWN.I meen the 1st series was *BAM* explosion in your face of epically legit sauce.
The 1st series had ravenpaw!!!! (the best cat ever!)
Fallensnow wrote: "And then I liked Yellowfang. But then she died."I think Erin likes killing the medicine cats...
Yeah... who else is noticing a pattern here? Hopefully, Jayfeather lasts a while, and Leafpool hasn't died yet..
Rose wrote: "I hear you guys. All my favorite characters keep dieing. Spottedleaf, Yellowfang, Bluestar, Raggedstar, Oakheart, Wiseheart, Frostfur, Cinderpelt."Wiseheart? Who's that?
I like Yellowfang, Bluestar, Oakheart, Crookedstar, Cinderpelt, Yellowfang, Jayfeather, Firestar, Stonefur, etc.
Who's Wiseheart? :)
Who's Wiseheart? :)

Well, to keep the emotions running, Erin Hunter has no choice but to kill the favorable cats. Otherwise it won't even be realistic. SOMEHOW the bad cats keep dying but the good cats live? Not possible, in the clan life, at least. I did think it should have stopped after the 2nd or 3 series. The powers and stuff just made it WEIRD.
and yeah, who is Wiseheart?! lol
The thing is, the series probably wouldn't be as entertaining if the good cats never died. :)
One-eye's name was never Wiseheart, it was White-eye...and Bluestar was the one who changed her name...:)
Ikr! Warriors is to awesome to end.
yeah:( but the reins did say they'd create a series about how the clans started and all that:) really excited for that
I'm not sure when, but they did say they would make a series about that.
