Did anyone else think that the 3rd series, 4th series, etc. was a bit much?

I haven't read those books in a couple years, and you just made me want to finish them! There's only 5 left, I can do it. :)

The series wasn't to much! It was perfect.

1)All those books are really hard to keep up with.
2) The Dawn series or whatever it is (the new one)is just going too far. I'll still read them, however, that first series was always best.
And...
3) The Erins should work more on Seekers Return to the Wild and Survivors.
I lost interest in the middle of 3rd series . . .

But yes, the first series is always the best. I can re-read it all the time. Whenever I lost faith in the newer series, I would re-read the original, and remember that I really want a conclusion. Seriously, I didn't buy 20-some-odd books to not know what happens in the end. (But now I do, so it's okay. I'll probably re-read them every now and then)
