@SaruGood thinking. There's not much to kidnap, now, is there? Plus, I'd be doing service to the community. :P
@JudeSounds familiar. What's it about?
@Saru
More like service to my family, but having me gone for a few months might not be a bad idea.
Translation: college.
@JudeI only watched the first season and part of the second before my mommy was like, "That's a naughty show. Stahp."
I love living in a sheltered home. XD
@JudeI guess because the mermaids are underdressed (how else do you see them? XD ), and there's a lot of teenagers kissing.
She would freak if she knew I tried to read Twilight. XD
@SaruShhhhhhhhhh.
@Jude
Yeah, there's nothing more than kissing. I don't mind. I watched it when I identified as asexual, so I was like, "eh."
IF ANYONE HERE PLAYS A VIOLIN OR VIOLA OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT HELP ME BECAUSE I DROPPED MY VIOLA AND NOW IT'S REALLY OUT OF TUNE. THE FINE TUNERS AREN'T ENOUGH AND THE PEGS WONT MOVE!
I did that with my cello once. You're gonna have to take it to a repair person…a repair like that is pretty cheap and fast, if I remember correctly.

We said you could be, not that you are. There's a difference.
On that note, are you?

THE FINE TUNERS AREN'T ENOUGH AND THE PEGS WONT MOVE!"You have to force them to move. Just prop it on your lap and twist. If you have to then take off all the strings and put them back on. You should probably inspect the instrument for other damage. How did you drop your viola?
Saru (Queen of Bookland) wrote: "I wonder how they would react if you ever read 50 shades:)."
Have YOU read that, Saru?
@SaruSev just reminded me to tell you that 50SoG tries to be naughty, but fails. It's explicit, but it doesn't feel…raunchy to me. Just poorly written. I read a better rape scene written by a ten-year-old than was written in that book.
@SevAND I AM OFFENDED YOU USED SPOILER TAGS FOR YOUR CONTEST STORY
Could you message it to me, perhaps?
Jude wrote: "oh good. i hate watching things that are "naughty" so i was scared for a minute. but i can deal with the kissing. i kinda like the kissing scenes. XD"I saw your thing about H20 sounding stupid but not being and the same thing applies to the show Degrassi. I started watching it because I was bored, but it turned out to be really good? And I was going to suggest that, but haha, in the sixth episode there was an almost sex scene, sooooo.
((The show deals with a lot of serious subjects, like drugs and dating and rape and sex and abortion and homosexuality and rumors and stuff and it's actually pretty good.))

yeah, but why did you try reading it in the first place?!
Sam~ on sleepless roads the sleepless go~ wrote: "yeah, but why did you try reading it in the first place?!"
Curiosity, I guess. I wanted to understand why there was such the paradox that it was on the New York Times bestselling list and yet it's one of the most hated books in America. Now I understand why. Middle-aged mommies buy it and love it, but the only ones willing to admit that they read that smut are the people who hate it.

Sev, sorry:) and thanks I'll try that. I didn't close my case, and picked it up, forgetting I hadn't closed it. I'm a genius. No of course I havent read it. Ick.
Yeah, that about describes it. I dunno…it's hard to describe…. Like I said, it tried to be naughty, and even though it was explicit, it still felt childish.
