Never had any, but it's really really strong. So it's gotta be nasty, but it gets you more soused than a fish swimming in rubbing alcohol, so.

Also, writing. I kinda have this vision of writing something that is uplifting for the readers, but I can't think of anything. It's too much of a habit to want to write about sad stuff like abuse. >.>

personally, i love reading stuff about the "bad" stuff. like things that are bittersweet. i find it more realistic. i don't like things that are like "OH HEY THINGS ARE AMAZING AND HERE'S A MORAL TO THROW IN YOUR FACE BECAUSE THINGS ARE SO DARN AMAZING AND HAPPY AND WONDERFUL."

Right. I want to write that stuff that is sorta bittersweet, though. That has the good with the bad. Stuff that makes people look at their weaknesses and say "I got this." Whether it's taking the Percy Jackson approach and turning ADHD into a strength or a story in which someone overcomes a debilitating illness…I want it to end up positive.

yeah, but it can be a sad issue you're dealing with and still end up on a bittersweet note. to me that's much more inspiring and uplifting than everything-is-hunky-dory. i wouldn't limit your options about the story you're telling based on the subject you're focusing on.
