I'm about 83% done with this and I'm gonna be honest and say their lack of open communication is KILLING me! I want to shake them both!

I'm about 60% with the book. I really enjoy the bantering between them , everyone sees Clay as this dark person but he is playful with Talin. It's fun to read the scenes that it's just the two of them.
Something else that I really liked was(view spoiler)
After last Psy-changeling book I stopped at guessing what's going to happen in the suspense part of the book.
I'm off to read the rest of it
I just finished it and I'm dying for ya'll to finish so I can ask some questions about what ya'll think. I love the overall plot of the demise of the PsyNet and that's what I'm dying to ask about from this one, even though shosho isn't wanting to guess LOL
Yes, shosho, I agree. I enjoy the dialogue between them. And that they are getting to know each other as adults. About 50% done. I'm to the short chapter where (view spoiler). Uh oh.
Hmm wwoow just finished the book, I have to say it wss one of the best in the series so far.(view spoiler)
Susan I want to guess but it's never correct .what do you have in mind?
Don't you hate it when you're typing from your phone and it just doesn't come out right? LOL Or worse, it autocorrects to something that is WAAAAY off from what you were trying to say? :)Here's my thoughts....(view spoiler)
Oh I hate typing long texts with it in the middle o f it , thw cursor jymps to random places. Our modem died on the weekend sent it back to ISP for replacement(view spoiler)
Thank God for my computer at work :DI'm going to share a little bit of " did you know that " with you .
Noor Hassan is a Persian girl in the book . But the last name Hassan is an Arabic last name(
She has to do some more research :D

shosho, interesting that that would be the child's name in the book. And I want to know what you thought Lisa Kay :)
Saw that you read
my goodreads review
, Susan, so I didn't answer right away as I was doing other reviews. I liked this one; however, I think the first was above and beyond the rest. Great series, though.
Are you planning to have a buddy read for the next one anytime soon? I'm going on holiday for a month this Saturday and plan to take the next one on audio to listen on the plane (a 16-hour flight).
The next one is
and set for in May, Shosho. No date yet. What is good for you? Geez... never got back to
- playing with my new Kindle Fire is giving that paperback book the kiss of death.
WOW shosho, a month?! How nice!As for setting a date for May, as of right now, I'm open for any date ;)
Well any day is good for me , I'm not sure how much time or internet access I'll have until I come back home (20th of May). but I'll listen to it next week and participate in the buddy read whenever you set it.:)
In a way I'm going home , I'm going to stay with my parents for the whole time , and enjoy mom's cooking and get fat :D I was planing to stay for 2 weeks but 2 of my cousins are getting married 25 days apart , so I had a change of plans to attend both weddings :D my husband keeps laughing at me for being excited about these 2 weddings :P
Soo... May 14th or 21st for the start date of
, ladies? Geez. Shosho will knock it off in one return plane ride.

Any of these days is fine for me
Finally got to this one! I'm on chapter 12 and I really want to slap some sense into Talin. She keeps going back and forth between anger and scared shitless. She knows Clay has changed yet she keeps comparing him to the boy she knew and expects him to act like that boy.He flirts with her and then she goes and says: "You don't want me because I'm used goods, remember?"
Well of course he's pissed. I don't think it's because she's been with other men. It's because of the way shesees herself. I don't remember him telling her she was used goods. That's a label she used. Then gets angry because he is judging her.
WTH!
He never said anything!
ok rant over, I'll go read now...
Gisela, I wasn't sure about the torture as a clue either. As for Tally and her wishy-washiness, it did drive me crazy too. Rarely does non-communicating couples get on my nerves, but clay and talin did
Finished, I warmed up to Tally once she stopped with her wishy-washiness ( to quote Susan:D) and got some spine. One thing I don't uderstand though. Tally is obviously still traumatized, Sacha should have been able to help her heal. The excuse of her shields seemed flimsy to me because between Sacha, Faith and Judd I'm sure they could have gotten arqaound them without hurting her. The only reasonable explanation for them is that the author wanted Clay to "heal" her. I think that the kind of trauma she has needs professional help it wouldn't normally go away on its own. The other thing that bothered me was the reason Tally gives for making Clay believe that she is dead. It didn't convince me and I think he forgave her too easily.
All in all I enjoyed this book, though I think it had the weakest romance in the series so far. I was more interested in Ashaya Aleine, the Ghost, and the Council.
Looking forward to the next book.

and yes the romance part wasn't as interesting as the overall story line about the ghost and the council .
