@Steph: Yes, Dickens is so good! I'm thinking of reading Great Expectations eventually. I'm sure it won't disappoint. :)Now reading The Princess Bride by William Goldman! It's the 25th anniversary edition, so the author's comments and such take up 50+ pages before the story even begins. And being the person that I am, I like to take in the "full experience". Never even having watched the movie doesn't help get through it as fast either. Often, I don't know half of it what Goldman is talking about! All these characters! Guess I'll find out soon enough...
Will be Colonel Brandon's diary
Just finished Captain Wentworth's Diary - LOVED IT!!
3 down 3 to go!!

Defo Steph!!! Read the actually novels first then these and it is soooo great to have another perspective!! Like your reading them again for the first time!! And it fills in some gaps in the novels!!
Steph wrote: "I can't wait to start this series... do you love it Stephanie?"I just started it. My library only has them in Large Print and I am not that old yet. May just purchase the ones I want.
Soph wrote: "Ohhhh Wentworth was a good one!!! :D love this series!!!"I figured he was my fave and they had it at the library, so it was a good place to start.
Yes. It is a good place. I can recommend which of the others are good too!! Let me know what you think!!
Ashley wrote: ""Of Poseidon." Soooo good."I was thinking of reading that, but I'm a little unsure. People have recommended it as something to read after Percy Jackson. But I don't know...

Hmm. I've never actually read the Percy Jackson books, but "Of Poseidon" can definitely stand on its own. Loved the concept, characters, and it wasn't super cheesy, either, when dealing with the whole mermaid thing. Definitely worth reading. I am so adding "The Lost Hero" to my que. Thanks!
Will be Henry Tilney's diary!!
Brandon's was great!! Like you said Nicole!! If anyone is unsure about Brandon, feels he is a minor character and is low on your list of heroes, read his diary and your opinion will change, I am sure of it!! Mine did!! Love Brandon so much more now!!

Happy you loved Brandon's diary Soph.Know you would.:)Henry Tilney's is really good too.How many more do you have till you have read them all?
ALICE - READ THEM!!! THEY ARE SO GOOD!! Brandon is now one of my favourites...
And Nicole!! So glad you told me about them. I have Tilney, Bertram (and Wickham left) which there was a Ferrars or Bingley!! I contacted Amanda Grange and she replied. She told me of a new book she has got coming out soon.
She wrote "You might like to know that I have a new book coming out in August called Dear Mr Darcy. It's an epistolary retelling of Pride and Prejudice. I found very interesting to write as there is speculation that Jane Austen used this form for the first version of Pride and Prejudice. She reworked the book over a number of years, until it ended up as the novel we now know and love, but with Dear Mr Darcy I've given a glimpse of what the original version might have looked like."
Sounds interesting... :)
