I just started The Unexpected Bride by Lena Goldfinch. If you haven't read any of her books, you should really check them out. Aire is just lovely!! :)As for Jane Austen... as I see a lot of posts about her... I very much enjoy Regency, and have watched almost all the Jane Austen movies, at least one version of each. So charming!! England and the Regency era just intrigue me! :)
So cool that you live in England, Soph! :) I guess it just seems so romantic to us who live in America and watch Jane Austen films... :P :)
Oh yes, the accents are lovely. I suppose you possess one? :) Such a cute outfit! Love the parasol!! :)
I so have an English accent and it is quite a .... Well , what you American think we all sound like haha. Aka I am not from the north or something or an area of England that has a very different sort of accent to those in Jane Austen adaptations!
And thank you :) I love the parasol too!
And thank you :) I love the parasol too!
Well, neat! :) Most times I think of Anna Popplewell and Georgie Henley (actresses from The Chronicles of Narnia) when I think of English accents! I think it would be fun to have an accent, but I don't think I have much of that, haha.
Parasols are such fun! :)
I am reading
and
and loving both.If you read non-fiction christian books I recommend Philip Yancey. Where Is God When It Hurts and What's So Amazing About Grace have become 2 of my favorite christen books I have ever read.
Reading The King's Scrolls by Jaye L. Knight. I don't know if anyone here is into fantasy... but this is an epic book! Ilyon Chronicles, book two. Mixture of dystopian, fantasy, and ancient Rome-like times. Truly inspiring!! :) :)

No new books for me, Soph, I'm afraid. I can't help myself, I've gone back to Georgette Heyer to re-read my favourites.Just finished
No one does witty banter like Heyer, and Oliver and Annis from a Lady of Quality have such great dialogue...I wish I could have such fiery, articulate exchanges with someone!
