message 2071: by Shantelle (new)

Shantelle I just started The Unexpected Bride by Lena Goldfinch. If you haven't read any of her books, you should really check them out. Aire is just lovely!! :)

As for Jane Austen... as I see a lot of posts about her... I very much enjoy Regency, and have watched almost all the Jane Austen movies, at least one version of each. So charming!! England and the Regency era just intrigue me! :)

Sophie | 2550 comments Mod
I so have an English accent and it is quite a .... Well , what you American think we all sound like haha. Aka I am not from the north or something or an area of England that has a very different sort of accent to those in Jane Austen adaptations!
And thank you :) I love the parasol too!

message 2078: by Shantelle (new)

Shantelle Well, neat! :) Most times I think of Anna Popplewell and Georgie Henley (actresses from The Chronicles of Narnia) when I think of English accents!
I think it would be fun to have an accent, but I don't think I have much of that, haha.
Parasols are such fun! :)
