Evelynn (authorgirlev) | 450 comments I started and finished Hide and Seek (Spy X, No. 2) by Peter Lerangis on Wednesday and started and finished Proof Positive (Spy X, No. 3) by Peter Lerangis today. I devoured them, finishing each one in a little less than three hours. And OH MY LAND, I can't put this series down! I have one more book to go! AND THEY ALWAYS END ON A CLIFFHANGER! AUGH! I know they're more tween books, but seriously! They are fast-paced awesome mysteries!

Aerykah | 2071 comments Well, I finished Ring of Secrets (The Culper Ring #1) by Roseanna M. White & LOVED it!! :D Also read Beauty for Ashes by Dorothy Clark . Another great book!! :D
Definitely recommend these two! :)

Currently reading When Two Hearts Meet (Colorado Runaway #3) by Janelle Mowery
And I'll probably be starting another one tonight... ;)

I currently reading four books.
Black The Birth of Evil (The Circle, #1) by Ted Dekker 1. I'm reading this for enjoyment. It is interesting so far. Ted Dekker makes you question your knowledge of what is happening in the book a lot. Basically there is a man, Thomas Hunter, who doesn't know what is dream and what is reality. Four stars so far.
My Unfair Godmother (My Fair Godmother, #2) by Janette Rallison 2. This book is hilarious. I am rereading it for fun. It is clean, the characters are witty, the narration is hilarious, the story-line is engaging, and the hint of romance at the end is so sweet. : ) I gave the book five stars that first time I read it. I would again.
Sir Quinlan and the Swords of Valor (The Knights of Arrethtrae, #5) by Chuck Black 3. I am reading this for a book report for Medieval History. I love Chuck Black's allegories throughout this series. I would have to say I like his books even more than Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I extremely love the wealth of meaning and elaborate. Five stars so far.
Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz 4. This is a book I am reading for Literature class. The plot--which is about a corrupt Roman man who fell in love with a devote Christian during the persecution of Nero--is different, yet I've seen the plot redone in soooo many Historical books written in the past decade. It is super long! My teacher has split up the chapters over a nine-week period. However, I do love the many Christian themes you can't get from it. Four stars so far.

However I must say that I loved the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic and would love to read the books! :) But almost all the books I own and really want to read are Regency/Victorian or set in those similar eras!
