Evelynn (authorgirlev) | 450 comments Started The Bungalow Mystery (Nancy Drew, #3) by Carolyn Keene Friday. I'm going to try to get back to the Nancy Drew series because, though I read through many of them when I was 11 and 12, I didn't finish the series! :P So I'm going to try to finish the series.

Nicole D. (thereadingrebel) | 1278 comments I just finished:

Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell 5 stars.I really loved this book.Molly was a great heroine.Cynthia for some reason reminded me of a cross between Mary Crawford and Isabelle Thrope but she really does love Molly as a sister.I loved Roger and for some reason he reminded me of Edmund form Mansfield Park.Mr.Gibson reminded me of Mr.Bennet in a way with is humor and stupid choice of wife.I wanted to horse whip Mrs.Gibson and thought she was a horriable human being.I really enjoyed the story and can't wait to read more of her work.

A Precious Jewel (The Ideal Wife #2) by Mary Balogh a very adult romance that explores the darker side of the Regency Period.4 stars.

still trying to decide what to read next.

I haven't, but I did see that the hero for "Tide" was in "Bolton hill". It hasn't ruined the book for me so far, though...

Aerykah | 2071 comments @Alice - It's good! I really enjoyed it! :)

@Nicole - That's true. There's a lot of back story in The Lady of Bolton Hill, but they can be read individually. Actually, I think it would be interesting to read The Lady of Bolton Hill second rather than first. ;)

I loved the series but my favorite of hers is her The Infernal Devices trilogy set in Victorian England.Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess(books 2 and 3)are 2 of my favorite books.

I am currently rereading The Harry Potter series and I am about a 100 pages form the end of book 2.

message 1637: by Leslie (new)

Leslie (chibilee02) Nicole, I liked the book well enough. I don't love it as many others do, but I would recommend it to anyone else who loves YA paranormal books. I may check out her other series.

But currently I've started Thursdays in the Park by Hilary Boyd .
