Beth wrote: "Yeah, and it was a lot cheesier too. In my opinion, this one is a lot better :)"Yes, the first cover was cheesier. I love this one; it's more in the style of the rest of Karen's books.
Oh, and I finally finished my third rereading of Joseph - now onto finishing Out of the Storm: The Life and Legacy of Martin Luther. It has so much information, I have to take it in a little at a time in spaced out segments. :P But it's really good!

I just finished Scarlet. It was amazing. It was written so you have time with new and old characters.Plus the new characters were really great and loveable.I don't know if this or Cinder is the better book. Why must book 3 be so far away?

I read a preview of it....it sounded good. still need to get a copy of it to read. Hopefully soon.
Finished
-- AMAZING BOOK!! ;D Can't wait to read book three!!
is kinda on hold for a little bit while I read some library books... ;)Now reading
& Re-reading
I didn't guess anything that was going to happen, it was all so surprising! Which is always good :)
I have the other 5 on my shelf to read haven't got round to them yet. Have you read any others? I think i am going to read... The girl and the gatehouse next. Or tutors daughter.
Nicole I am loving the series. My middle daughter read them a couple of years ago and also loved them. You see princesses in a whole new light. This book in particular is the darkest so far but that's because Red Riding Hood is a world famous assassin so it's going to be a bit darker.there are things about the books though that some in the group may not like due to their religious beliefs, so I'm not sure that everyone in the group would like them. But if you're okay with reading things that don't gel with your beliefs then you may like them.
Soph wrote: "I look forward to them. Are you planning on reading her latest one, tutors daughter sometime?"Yes, I do want to read that one. Really bad!! Sometime soon, I'm going to see if my library has it on kindle. I've got a lot of books to read right now, though, so it will have to wait a while.
Finally about to start the second pride and prejudice variations from KaraLynne Mackrory (loved her Falling for Mr Darcy) called Bluebells in the Mourning! Been waiting a long time to read this!
I started
yesterday and read about 1/2 the book through the afternoon! I laughed so hard through chapters 2 & 3! It was so funny. I love Mary Connealy's ability to write to humorously!
