9. Mystic River and Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane (due to a significant visual disability, I do ALL my fiction "reading" by tape, CD or digital book. I have a great appreciaiton for audio books!).

Audio books give another dimension to the story and I love the books that I have listed to and how they have a reader with an appropriate accent.
