I have 4 big book tickets listed on the Readerboard and I think I should have 5. Here are tasks, books claimed, and the number of pages:

Message 2034: for task 20.5--A Game of Thrones with 835 pages. (2 tickets)
Message 2053: for task 30.8--Tess of the D'Urbervilles with 592 pages. (1 ticket)

Task 30.1 - The only thing mentioned in We Didn't Start the Fire in 1988 is medical waste being illegally dumped at sea. If you look at the help thread for 30.1, it's pretty clear that the book you read needs to be directly related to the thing in the song. The World Without Us does not appear to focus on medical waste being illegally dumped at sea. You might want to check with Ms. Anderson in the help thread. If she approves the book, please repost this task noting that she has specifically approved the book.

Can I still change it for another book, rather than go through verification? That would probably be quicker/easier. I have Bedeviled (paperback & 74 ratings as of right now) that I could use and repost that task~ if it's OK with you.

Sorry about forgetting about the e-book verification...I just checked the page counts on those. The nook version is much shorter, so it's out. Can I change my 5.8 task book to this (Howl's Moving Castle) and just delete 5.8 from my totals? Let me know and I'll repost that way, or just delete the 30 point one (ouch!).

Sorry, you guys, but the rules clearly state that 3. In order for points to be counted, tasks must be reported correctly in the Completed Tasks thread by Midnight EST on the final day of the challenge. This is why we warn about waiting 'til the last day to post tasks......
