ABANDONED. Little witch who lived in woods with witch mother and wizard father

This book was pretty long despite the fact that it was a children's book. I believe the main character was a little girl named Nora and she lived in the woods with her father who was a wizard, and her mother who was a witch. The family would often be visited by a peddler who knew of their magic. There were illustrations in the book and it may have been written in the 1940s-50s. If you could please help me find this book, I would greatly appreciate it.
